Suggestion for new open world Activity

I have 2 idea that could improove open world exploration :

1: on a daily rotation, in an area of the map ( One or Two districs)some traitorous agents are mooving free.
We don't have any indicators, nothing, we just have to explore the area trying to find the agents.
Each traitor has one and only one unique weapon he uses, and drops it if killed.
If he kills you, then he disappears and you have lost the chance to take the weapon.

2: instead of seasons like this, why not create a different challenge?
For example, a challenge where you never have to go back to the safe house.
The more enemies killed and the more complete activities without returning to the "house", the higher the level of the challenge with relative rewards.
You are so more stimulated to travel around the world and have to use the ammunition and healing that the enemies drop.

I think open world now Is misused, there Is no a real goal to Explore besides the static Activity that are signed in the map.

    🙂🙂

    1. Absolutely not, the way you are suggesting it. Running around like chicken with no indications and/or clues whatsoever, having to cover pretty big area (two districts is a pretty big playing field) will get annoying pretty fast. It's not a bad idea overall, just needs to have some clues to follow, because nobody likes to run around not knowing what they are even supposed to be looking for to begin with imo.

2.You can set up that kind of challenge for yourself, plus the suggestion this to replace seasons entirely is honestly a NO from me.

Open world is far from msused, it's still one of the best experiences in the game imo.

For 1 yes, It needs some work 🙂 but i don't like the super gps bounty,Is too much linear and boring.
So , this should an addiction to normal Activity, in One area there Is a rogue, free in the zone.

During your farm in a district, you could find ( or if you want find , can do It exploring).

More Is Better than less, no?

For 2, this could be a new season objective, or a Daily project ecc ecc
I love open world but now Is only run cp to cp and change zone, and i would have more activity to do.

If i had some reward to play without goes to the safe House, Is Better 😁

Are Just 2 ideas, but with a Little work i think could be a good addiction☺️

Might as well stop the "idea and suggestion" threads. After January, the game will most likely not get much, if any new additions at all.

Probably true, but at least Artorius and others are putting some suggestions and improvements out there. Most of us seem to have abandoned all hope but I admire their tenacity. The triumph of hope over experience.

Shoot, I can put up suggestions too but they will fall on deaf ears. I would love to see more Division content but I doubt we will get anything. If we are lucky, perhaps a season 5.

    Mis-used? No.

    Under-used? Yes.

The core game including its open world has a lot of raw potential that's gone under used. Personally i enjoy the open world activities and how multiple events can collide providing another level of uniqueness such as when a convoy or patrol drifts into a control point fight but I know others hate this.

What the game needs and will not ever get is some level of user created mission design/content like the custom mission designer/tool with AC Odyssey. It would allow players to build custom missions. It won;t happen because there is this hang up that nothing can exist in the game (no content) that is not loot reward balanced. You can't let players create custom missions/objectives because the rewards would either be too many or not enough., Apparently this concept of playing a game because its fun has been superseded by rewards. Its why despite how boring the summit is you still have sizable number of players excited for it as long as it gives them gear they want.

There was a time when content in a looter/shooter game had to be fun now it just needs to give you something.

I need less open world engagements, especially in NY. I can't go 2 blocks without unnecessarily running in to a group that has to be cleared to get by.

Yeah I am not overly fond of Bounties either. They are indeed quite linear, but they serve their purpose. Your first suggestion could work, where you have to work to find hidden clues and such. Maybe following audio recordings to figure out what each of the next clue is, until you find your target. However I suspect many will not like it. Most players seems to want the most efficient, fastest way to their loot, which severely limits creative option designs imo.

Open world isn't just from CP to CP. There is quite a lot of events in between. The most fun I have personally in the Open world is when several events merge together -- it's quite fun! But yeah I can support more option for seasonal event, if it's an addition to seasonal events and not something to replace Seasons completely

Yes in the n1 could use audio log to give some indications, a visual indication like "rogue xx was mooving near a church in the south of Wall street" .
We go south, and looking for the church, where there are a new audio log .

    Something like this.

I love open world, i play only open world because Is funny and there Is a lot of action and freedom, but i think that could be used in season activity or for make the exploration more "mysterious".

I think Is time to add New features to open world
