Hi, I have the same problem with my Galax 3080. I have opened a ticket with support like 5 days ago and the only send me on a wild goosechase claiming there is a problem on my PC. I already have submitted DXDIAG and MSINFO files like 4 times, did safe boot, clean driver install, file verification and everything else they requested. The problem is clearly with the game in combination with 3080s and current NVIDIA drivers.
The ball is on UBI's end here not the 3080 users.

I'm in the same position. Tech support is asking their 1st line support questions (just doing their job, I know), making their users do the leg work. I'd like to turn this question around:

Is there anyone on a Nvidia 3000-series card that has got For Honor to run?

Tbf, Ubi is a big company and not having even tested this on a reference card (as it seems) is kind of ludicrous.

Seems its some incompatibility with the 3080's driver, most likely. I have a Gainward 3080, and the same thing, it crashes right after the first warning screen in game.

There is a new driver version, 456.55-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql, but the game still crashes after the splash screen for me.

Trying to continue the ticket in the ubisoft support, but the site is unresponsive right now.

I have an idea. Please grant me Assassins Creed Valhalla on my Uplay account so I can test if the game launches.

not sure what the point is since there are no known 3080s that dont crash for honor on startup. but ok, mine is the one from gigabyte.
