Game Crash on startup with RTX 3080 drivers

I had just purchased the RTX 3080 and installed the day one drivers, but ever since the game refuses to get past the first epilepsy warning before hard crashing the game. I thought it could have been a driver conflict since I had been using a myriad of cards beforehand, so I did a complete system restore and even afterward I have been receiving the same crashes. I could only assume it is due to immature drivers but I'm not sure.

EDIT. New Hotfix drivers have been released. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ...5099/kw/hotfix

Hi. I have the same issues on a new ASUS TUF 3080. I've tried everything and also nothing. Have you had any luck?

Still no luck. It's hopefully only a driver issue and will be fixed in time.

Hello from the cyberpunk 2077 discord tech-talk, some people downclocked the 3080 by 15mhz and are able to start the games without crashes. You should try to downclock it a bit and see what happens.

Unfortunately, no error codes. I just get a hard crash and uplay asking to send a crash report

I also get no error codes, it just crashes straight to uplay and asks for crash report.

I have the same thing with my MSI GeForce RTX 3080 10GB GAMING X TRIO. There is no error message and even the error log seems to not get an entry in it. I tried reinstalling the game, but it didn't help.
