    Legendary

Can we quit joining legendary and then disconnecting immediately after you die because someone cannot get to you. Do not bother joining if you have a crap build or a low SHD level. The amount of people joining with crappy builds and levels is baffling. We put work into our builds and if you want to join Legendary please do the same. No one wants to carry you.

I actually agree with the OP. And I'm not entirely certain why Massive just allowed people to skip ahead on content progression like they did in WONY. World Tiers were a fine idea, and they should have kept it. Jumping straight from a fresh level 40 who just killed Keener, and into matchmaking for a Legendary is complete nonsense.

I'm not trying to exclude anyone from anything, but people REALLY should have to progress through the difficulty levels in order to prove(both to themselves and others) that they deserve to be there. Either through personal skill or gear, I don't care. Just play at the level of content that you're able to handle, and don't inflict your weakness on others unless they volunteer for it(friends and clan).

The Division 2 community is by and large VERY helpful. We will absolutely teach you how to play and what a good build is. But trying to skip the line and get carried to free legendary drops by abusing the matchmaking system is.....horrible. It's borderline exploitative and deserving of a report for trolling or something similar, IMO.

This is why I never have and never will use matchmake in any game ever. If someone ASKS me to carry them and I know they are not a leech and might just be having a hard time with that particular content, I will absolutely go in with them while explaining/showing/instructing along the way so that they can learn what made them struggle. Matchmake is nothing but leeches and lazy people who want to take advantage of fast runs with strangers to get easy stuff, while hoping the others don’t notice they are just along for the ride.

This! Holy cow I cannot believe new players can skip the entire game and go straight to WoNY. All of Washington, D.C. is how one learns to play the game!

New clan members with SHD 250 still wearing a purple chest piece, have no idea what Skill Tiers, CHD, or the recalibration table are and trying to run heroic and legendary to help them "get gud".
The players are good enough, they just need to learn the game. Put down the Bullet King, get some decent gear, and learn the mechanics. That's how one "gets gud".
