    Latest SOTG Concerns

Watching the latest SOTG i found a few things concerning:

Reversal of the increase of resistance mods - Why revert it from 20% back to the original 10% why not meet half way go 15% ?
Where different values tested in PTS? All this seems to to do is reinforce the extremes in builds full red, full blue, full yellow etc the whole idea was to be able to allow for more build diversity and was a key point in early early TU 11 discussions, to allow PvP players the chance to reduce the effects of hives and riot foam etc.

Rainbow Loot - Was not even mentioned during the SOTG, it was clear from PTS many still felt that there was way to much Rainbow loot dropping in PTS, Massive also went back on their early comments on addressing Rainbow loot stating that the 1st Attribute would 100% match the core latter reversing that comment but not clarify a figure only saying they would test it in PTS. THis issue alone is one of the biggest player concerns in the game right now and was not even talked about?

IMO anywhere between 80-90% would be adequate, lower than 80% will not be acceptable to many and is one thing the players wont stand for, this has been an issue since at least 8.5. And has been dragged out long enough.

Summit - What can I say ? Personally this doesnt feel ready for release based on watching streams and the comments in the forum. It lacks new content, nothing being provided in Summit is new accept its all again, recycled content it was heavily promoted as 100 ....100 floors of ‘highly’ replayable content. Massive seems t...as always... totally out of touch with tha the player community wants. Firstly, making end game players play 50+ floors on normal hard and challenging for absolutely nothing other than having to do it is not fun, rewarding, or challenging...big mistake in not allowing players to set the difficulty right from the start, forcing directives for artificial difficulty again, lazy.

Only to now open it up to allow people to just jump to whatever difficulty level floor they want, your 100 floors or highly replayable content just got cut in half or thirds if you only want heroic and Legendary...And if you have a mate that has reached say floor 91 and you join him that will become your new save point.... Yannick has made some comments on Twitter about there being future work in improving Summit it would be nice for this to be made public so the community could provide input because as it stands Massive is not delivering content the community wants or expects and is constantly going back on what they say they will deliver

At this point many players are past sad past angry and are just plain over it. If this New (old recycled content) mode isnt up to scratch and loot isnt fixed it will result in you loosing what limited few veteran players you have I’ve been playing Division since the start of D1 the consistent thing I’m seeing from massive is they just aren’t listening to the players, ignore feedback and are out of touch I mean on one hand they ban players because of exploits in their poor coding but still haven’t addressed the Cheating allegations from the RAID’s world first...oh that’s right their content creators and star players......this just shows your contempt for the community.

At the start of D2 you said you had learnt from your mistakes in D1.....nothing seems to have changed

They could've added mod slots back on the holster and kneepads or something instead.

This, to me, feels more like a decision they got from their golden favorite streamers. Has nothing to do with what has been reported on PTS or community feedback. If their chosen peers don't like it, it won't get implemented.

I'm gonna go on a longshot & pretty much say they still don't know on which number to stick to. Most probably at the end of today's workday they'll settle, then pack it all up on Monday in order to be sent to the Infrastructure guys for the patch release day.

Unfortunately, this looks like what they promised cut in half. Was it that hard to make the whole thing available for difficulty choosing & optional directives?!

at this point i've not even finished the second manhunt because the skill you get is just worthless,
annd at this point havingn played summit in PTS for 20 minutes i just got bored... this isn't the "challenge" i wanted to get
nor the "replayability" just the exact same , exact same loot, in a tower with constantly the same stuff.

atleast Div 1 rewarded you for playing the game, instead of having to hardcore grind for that 1 piece.
very demotivating that after hours upon hours of farmingn you can't just unlock or buy it as a "lower" grade.
the forcing you to endlessly farm is something that has killed many MMO's and division 2 won't be an exception if this keeps going.

MSV are becoming experts at killing their own games. Patch 1.8 reversed Division 1's long drawn-out decline because someone else did it. Summit/Skyscraper is a chance to "do a 1.8" on Division 2. But it looks like someone high up in MSV is determined to kill it by stamping his own peculiar set of skewed player-unfriendly idiosyncrasies on it. I hope it will be a success but I fear it won't be.

Massive: Don't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'm not expecting nothing so good from TU11. I'm worried about the bugs they will implemet with the update. They don't talk about fixing the existent bugs, about fixong the bad craft bench and other things the base players want.

Well only around 10% of my drops were actually rainbow loot, 60% had forced first color attribute. This is an improvement over the current situation, problem when asking for data to know about how much rainbow loot a person got out of how many total looted items their answer was starting to foam their mouth and say it didnt matter because they saw ONE rainbow loot item so they just considered everything picked up trash.

You want to convince people and have a point? Collect data and show it, dont become a raving lunatic like "oh my god, why did i get a rainbow piece of loot???? This game is pure bullshut you should all have been fired amd removed all lot from the game, i spent the entire day farming a god roll providence and this is how you reward me????" followed by me going "how many total items did you get so we can know the current rainbow situation" and i am gracefully aknowlodged by community when trying to gather data "your white knight *, i shouldnt be getting any rainbow loot at all, just looking at this single piece ruined my entire day, i uninstalling it this waste of a time"

See people, this is what i get and then i know most people are overreacting over getting a SINGLE rainbow piece out of only god knows how many, but they just enter a frenzy without helping.

Not really - few of those bothered keeping count, and those who did only had a small sample size. One person even claimed they got a total of eight items playing all 100 floors of Summit (hint: you're going to get way more than eight items). Based on my sample of 235 gear items, about 15% were rainbow rolls.

Regardless of the actual %, those who hate rainbow rolls are going to say that 1% is still too much.

Yep, one additional mod slot would have been a low impact way to increase flexibility without negatively impacting existing gear.

Yeah, my favorite was the muppet who claimed I was a "white knight troll" and "defending the devs" - for asking them to specify how many items they got, and whether they thought it was too high or low
