So the Immersive does not remove the enemy level

I have to start by saying that I only played the alpha back in the days and a beta so my friends tried to convince to buy the game since it was on sale in the PS Store for like $15.

So before I formed my decision to buy the game, I downloaded the demo that lets you play up to 6 hours.

Straight at the beginning, I chose Immersive version because I thought and I WAS OBVIOUSLY WRONG that it would remove the enemy level alongside with the gear score bs.

Is there a way to play in a full immersive way without being constantly alerted : Enemy level is too high and having to dump 3 magazine on a npc.

Sorry but you clearly did a mistake. I play on immersive too and there are no levels. Check your tactical settings again mate.

Hold on there, immersive mode hides levels it doesn’t remove them remember in some ways.

You take a sentinel soldier unaware, they take 3 rounds to the body to down.

An alerted sentinel soldier take around 6 to take down.

Then wolves are another level, so they take around 6 rounds unaltered then a lot more alerted.

So there is kind of a levelling system still in play compared to other games. I mean enemies are way too bullet spongy in general.

Shots to the head are instant kills in most cases though.

The OP could not have been in immersive mode when he's getting those alert messages regarding enemy levels. That's what is taking place when "being constantly alerted : Enemy level is too high".

This is true, immersive mode doesn't truly hide the levels in terms of making it like it doesn't exist, it simply passively streamlines all the gear scores of the various zones into a singular one (being yours), and allows your gear score to passively increase without you having to pick up or replace gear. It also overhauls the loot of the missions, boxes, convoys, and various other collectibles to weapon parts and metal parts. What Rugby said is true sort of in terms of enemy health. Sentinel health is based of what's called a "mark system", each of the various Sentinel units are various marks based on their archetypes. The most basic units being your T-shirt Sentinels and breachers are 1 mark and take about 3 bullets to kill, Commanders/Drone Operators/Rocket gunners are 2 marks which is about 4-5 ish, and certain heavily armored sentinel units (the ones found in the high tier bases like driftwood isle testing site) and the Wolves are 3 marks, and take about 6 ish shots to kill.

Though reading the post, I think Oiel is in gear score mode.

You obviously haven't played Division 2 if you think the enemies are "Bullet Spongey" in Breakpoint.

Immersive doesn't just hide levels, I think. The damage (given and received) is the same for each enemy type across the whole game everywhere on the island when in immersive. In the non-immersive, 'normal' mode different areas are effectively gated by the enemy levels, from damage through to detection range and sensitivity, so that players need to improve their gear to play in those areas.

I tried the first division game and realised it had no Tom Clancyness at all so didn’t play it much before moving on.

Well to be fair and alerted wolf dies with 4 to 6 body shots with my P45T (I shot really slow to make sure I was getting hits and counting them.
Funny tho is that with the pistol, everyshot makes them flinch.
While with the rifle its actually pretty rare to cause a flinch reaction on enemies.
Also my damage 30 rifle takes more shots to kill a wolf than my damage 24 pistol.
My damage 30 pistol takes around 3 to 5 shots.
