A platformer game would be greatly preferable... such seperate-genre games as the one you're suggesting have not served this series well in the past. Rayman M was an acceptable diversion... Rabbids was not. A Rayman 'beat 'em ep' could perhaps have some potential in a form similar to that of the battles in Rayman M (that is to say, one of several modes in a Rayman M-style game).
~A violent Rayman platformer with dark themes, a complex storyline and moral choices would be good, now that I think of it. It's not as if it would be unprecedented.
