Destiny/WOW/ESO/WARFRAME - have extotics items behind raid and nobody complain there , like division cry babys community - if you want something EARN IT , raids are open , nobody block you for complete raid or legendary - Its yours fault and your safe comfort zone

I'm sick of it this Division cry babys whiners community , This is like division 1 almoust die s , solo /causal or bad players always create topics "nerf nerf nerf everthing gear/waepons missions" because they play solo or not have time for invest for good builds and want everthing without any efford
Funny - all 4 games you just mentioned have, LITERALLY, 100 times more stuff to do than The Division, and the rest of the game modes outside of the raids are not just downright neglected like they are in The Division. Have you even played those games? I don't think you have.

Not to mention the raids were removed from Warframe a long time ago, and the main rewards, the Arcanes, were moved to an activity that can be done solo (like everything in Warframe,) so... yeah.

I also stopped playing Destiny at the beginning of the "Season of the Worthy" because the game is absolutely full of activities with match making disabled now, even when there's very little reason to exclude it.

The only sensible comment in this thread.

Just adding that overall Warframe is by far the superior game. Just started again after a long break :-)

Anyhow - and because I'm only occasionally dropping by to check if anything reasonable happened - if you don't give everybody the Option to get the Equipment he wants/needs by a way he enjoys in his own pace in a game that basically has no competitive content...then I don't know. They told us with TD1 1.8 they learned their lessions, the told us they would incorporate and improve upon them with TD2. Man does their Interpretation of improvement differ from mine.

Simple example to above: To get item x you either do 1 Legendary run or 100 in normal. Who cares? Going through 100 normal missions just for one specific item is an achievement in his own right.

[QUOTE=YodaMan 3D;15162998]The players are already divided. Cause of the Raid, Cause of the DZ, Cause of Locked Loot. History lesson, Massive focused on End Game in TD and for the longest time focuses only on PvP. Few years later, they give more focus to the Raids. DZ has been ignored. The LZ is ignored. Giving access to loot in TD did bring back players, which they needed for beta testing ideas for TD2. I find it sad that players get hung up on the idea of options for the entire player base. Cause not everyone is a Raider. Not everyone goes into the DZ. Now treating players like second class citizens cause Massive can't handle the size of project they took on opening their games up to such huge player base. So while you "work" at a video game. Remember what Massive has forgotten, games are suppose to be fun and not a punishment. If they really want to unite players, they need to bring options for all players in the player base.[/QUOTE

"Games are supposed to be fun" and Options for players both can not be emphasized enough. I was pushing for adjustable world level difficulty since day one when I joined the ETF for the first Division game and it wasn't until after DIVISION 2 was out and several updates in before they finally did this and I'd like to believe that this has been a well received/popular addition to the game. Because of this I fear that the options like we're discussing are slow to be added to the game for whatever reason and as such I don't see much more for DIVISION 2 in the way of player options, not unless Year 3 ends up not being maintenance mode only like DIVISION 1 was in year 3. As for the fun part, it seems like many (too many) believe that its not about whether the content is fun but what you get for playing it that matters. The Summit is a perfect example of this. Its excessively repetitive and boring but as long as they tune it to give lot then apparently its OK. Not me,. If its not fun then I don't care if your giving away guaranteed god rolled gear I'm not going to waste my valuable time on it. I'd go back to playing Survival which nothing gained from it in terms of loot can do anything for me before wasting time in The Summit.
