tiger will get raped by pershings if u dont watch out.. and thats a factOriginally posted by KillaJules:
Super-Pershing does 14 dps to King Tiger whereas King Tiger does 25 dps to S-P. Speed doesn't count for much in a duel unless the S-P is at the very tip of range. To match King Tiger in a duel you must outspend him with S-Ps. On the 'Why Super Pershing OP?' thread someone did a test and showed that it isn't cost-effective beating King Tigers with S-Ps.
i bet tis same about KT and SP but average went mad after some tests xD
Super Pershings will use their speed to the advantage, in a large battlegroup they can flank and catch the KTs out of formation and get a few kills before all the KTs are in range to return fire. Even moreso they can use (read : abuse) this tactic to do hit and run tactics vs KTs thanks to the speed gap.
Thanks, that's what I meant to convey in my earlier post :-)Originally posted by Covert-141:

Ah I see now how speed can be such a big factor. It seems that in the MP game I was referring to, the S-P spammer got raped because he didn't micro.
So how to balance this then? I think that the Pershing should get cost, firepower and range reduced to match Panther and S-P have its firepower reduced to match ordinary Tiger.
