    RIP For Honor

Well looks like its time to say good bye to this game for me. Have played it for a very long time now and this is the worst it has ever been, and it seems many others have the same opinion, playerbase consists of light spammers now which are unreactable on console and its a good laugh that ubisoft “fixed” that issue. Sad to see when the game use to be enjoyable but I guess ubisoft want to lose there playerbase.

The playerbase of For Honor is alive and well. It sucks you feel the need to quit, but let's not pretend the game is dying like every other time over the 3.5 years that someone is upset.

Every time it's "this game is dying".

They said that at launch, and in year 2, and year 3, and now year 4.

If the game was dying, they would stop supporting it. Plain and simple.

Well I appreciate the response, and I will admit there are still lots of players, but I don’t believe i’m wrong in the fact that light spamming is still a serious issue, and after the previous update it seems to be much much worse. I personally enjoyed the game much more before the CCU update and by reading the forums, it seems i’m not alone.

Not really on Pc and devx dont do separte balancinh, you cant blame them for balancing after Pc if they need to pick one. (Maybe for honor goes next gen)

The thing is, and I said this as a console player(pc is broken) that PC is the best option to optimize and to support.

It´s because in the long run if they maintain the PC platform the game is investing in its own survival. Console is very limited, depends on permissions even for updates, costs are more for supporting, is time consuming also. I know the console playerbase is much more than the PC one, but as any other game that is surviving for years, they chose PC , simply because PC is in the long run faster, cheaper and open for everyone. Anyways next gen is coming I´m sure the old 30 fps problem will be gone too.

I moved back to console after the ccu launched and really the only thing that annoys me is the constant dropped inputs due to input delay. It basically feels like I need to buffer everything and sometimes that gets me to do something I didn't actually input. PC CCU doesn't have this issue. But it's a lot easier to react block openers and some basic combos don't work against me. On console I can react block most openers still. But at less consistency. And combos are proper unreactable outside maybe 2 cases.

It is unfortunate that both experiences feel like half of the whole experience that we're trying to get to with these constant game updates. I hope FH comes to next gen and isn't just a port. I really think that's where console will take off.

I hope that does happen for next gen as well a proper upgrade
that would definitely boost the console for honor CCU experience
I might even download/buy it again if actual blatent console issues
are tweaked like input delay, and the inclusion of a framerate slider.

There is no excuse to lock it at 30 fps for next gen
at 30 fps combat feels clunky and not as smooth sure visuals
look nice but if the gameplay feels choppy what is the point.

60 fps should at least be the medium and 120 fps would be a blessing
for console since it can be reached by next gen.
