A Worthy Ghost Recon Wildlands successor

Do you think we'll ever see one? I've tried playing Breakpoint on several occasions but I just can't enjoy it like Wildlands. I've uninstalled it now and will likely never touch it again. At least I got it cheap on PS Store.

Wildlands is perhaps not the best Ghost Recon game out there but I really enjoy (still playing it when I can) the open world, non-linear storyline, character/weapon customisation options and 4p co op mode.

Despite its many flaws, Ghost Recon Wildlands remains one of my favourite games ever.

On its own IP, sure, I don't see why not.

As a Ghost Recon successor? No, I sure hope not but I do hope that some day Ubisoft Studio (whomever will make the next GR) can grow a spine and a sack and make a proper GR game.

+ 1000 on Breakpoint, nobody knows what that was or was pretending to be. OK, not everybody but most people.

Just slap some updated graphics on wildlands and everyone wins.

After several hours in Breakpoint I can relate. It's not a patch on Wildlands.

I played the alpha and the 2 betas of the GRBP and at that point, I was 100% sure that it would be a game I would not like and did not buy it.

So I decided yesterday to try the demo version and that immersive mode, the fact of having that warning message of enemy of higher level turned me off of the game. I uninstalled it right away.

That you got the warning message meant you were not in immersive mode, but in the original gear score.

I am all for hating on Breakpoint but at least make a proper effort if you are going to take the time to install it. I mean, it is your time you are wasting but now, with what Mike just told you, you may want to try it again and you'll waste all of that time again installing it back

Breakpoint is a sloppy attempt at a far cry game.

Can someone help me understand what's so bad about Breakpoint, that most people really hate on it? I've recently started playing WL (still fairly new to it...sick of getting e-raped by mouse/keyboard players on Rainbow Six Siege on PS4, and have decided to play something PvE)...and I really like it. To me, at first glance (but not having played it), that BP seems to be much like WL, but perhaps with some cooler stealth-kill animations, and a few other bells/whistles. Is that accurate, or what exactly do people truly dislike about BP?

The melee animations in Breakpoint take FAR too long. You can creep up behind an enemy wanting to do an instant kill - and instead your character dances with the enemy for 5-10 seconds, leaving you extremely vulnerable to being attacked by another enemy.

On a side-note, it's still a bit on the unstable side - on a standard xbox for me it can crash out to the dashboard at least once every couple of hours, making for an inconsistent gaming session.

Is there a time difference between the animations, that adjust based on how you approached the enemy? For example, if you approach from the rear and they weren't alerted...you dispatch them quickly, whereas if you approached from the front and they saw you coming, then the animation takes longer?
