Ubisoft told us; We want you to explore the island.
But why do i need to explore? What is the gameplot for exploring? We are soldiers behind the enemy lines, so what we need is Ammunition, Food, Water and the ghost gadgets.
Right now we can buy it from Maria's store in a cave in the middle of the ocean, which is better stocked than most of the black markets in eastern Europe or the Middle East.
These women sells weapons and vehicles where African dictators are dreaming off.
Give exploration a understandable reason, like the resource system in wildlands. Just scatter money over the island and let us buy all the stuff is to cheap.
Or it can be crafted.
Have someone ever tried to craft a explosive target homing drone...on a campfire?
Weapons and Vehicles:
There could be a low level (not gearscore) version of weapons which are printed by the outcast, like a slow firing pistol with just few rounds in the mag.
Most of the ghosts equipment could look a little bit improvised (grenades, c4, taser), because it is lot more easier to tinker IEDs than a military approved assault rifle in your backyard.
All vehicles should be stolen by the ghosts or with "steal vehicle" command by rebels.
The ancient ruins:
Skell archeologists are exploring this ruins, bringing equipment and resources with them. Of course they are protected, or overwatched by Sentinel patrols. So the ruins will have barrels with fuel, ammunition cases, polymer for 3d printers. These all is stuff which is needed to survive in a hostile environment.
So these locations can be a focus point for motorcycles, trucks or patrols instead of spawning them in the wild.
The cold War locations:
These old bunkers must be filled with ammunition, old weapons and fuel. It would have been cheaper for the US to let the ammunition and weapons there, because the transport costs wood have been much higher. These points are not interesting for Sentinal because the Ammunition is End of Life but would be okay for rebels.
And if ubisoft reads this, one honest question. How much coca have the ghost brought from Bolivia, because you can't craft these syringes from...local flora?
