    can anyone tell me how to get the fps counter working on 1946? I keep trying the keystrokes in the manual but can't seem to bring it up?

    In flight, press Shift-Tab to bring up the console.

    then type
    fps START SHOW
    Mind you: it's case sensitive!
    press Shift-Tab to hide the console.

    To stop and hide the counter:
    fps STOP SHOW

    Don't know if this is 'easier' but I added the following commnads to the <span class="ev_code_YELLOW">rcu</span> file located in the IL-2 program directory.

    The first line starts the FPS counter automaticaly when I start a mission. The other two lines create an alias, I just Shift-Tab and then type fps-on or fps-off to turn on and off the fps meter.



    @fps START SHOW

    @alias fps-on fps SHOW START
    @alias fps-off fps SHOW STOP
