I was thinking that shugo is the embodiment of ugliness. But if I take tiandi voicelines into account, yeah he is the personification of ugliness. What an ugly spam.

If that accounts for anyone, I genuinely hate Tiandi's dargon dodge bs. That is a free get out of jail card against all chargable bashes. Especially now that you can dodge out of anyting, and he basically enters a hollow dimension where he can only be hit by lucky attacks and undodgables.

I personally don't have a strong opinion on feintable dodge attacks. I just found it worth noting that people would complain over consistent offense more than genuine potential safe defensive options.

If the ccu has done anything to me it's opened my eyes on how dodge option selects are really awful.

Kensei and JJ are far worse. At least in terms of I-frames tiandis can be hit out of dragon dodge with a nicely timed light. Kensei and JJ litterally phase through multiple opponents across the map.
Also Tiandi's dodges actually can be hit by bashes by now. Not long ago this was absolutely not possible at all and u would just warp around the tiandi even if you'd timed it right. Kensei and JJ however are yet again the exception who would not be concerned about such a thing.

I would fault JJ for his extended I frame dodge and his double dodge via delayed dodge into sifu. But the man has really nothing else going for him. And you can reaction GB him if he defaults to doing a buffered dodge attack input on indicator. He also sort of screws himself because his zones often knock people out of range for him to have a valid mix up option. He's annoying for sure. but not one of the worse offenders for dodge option selects in my opinion.

Tiandi has much better defense due to his soft feint dodge lights that are undodgable and have superior block properties on them. Given that he also has a decent zone option select and palm strike for bash option selects he's quite difficult to deal with. Conq similarly is obnoxious not only because of the number of defensive option selects he has. But because his side dodge bashes have superior block through the entirety of the dodge.

Kensei is kind of annoying because he has superior block on dodge meaning you can't realistically use undodgables to consistently punish him auto dodging. But at least he can't feint his dodge attack and it's still very reactable.
