Directives should increase Loot Drop Rate

When playing with directives, the usually make content quite challenging. You can say putting all directives on challenging difficulty will feel like heroic difficulty. It should reward us better than just increased xp. I think if the directives will increase the drop rate of loot then it will be worth playing. Ex if we have 4 directives on, the loot drop rate should increase by 100% along with the xp. It will not change the quality of loot though. So if a player is satisfied with the loot quality of a certain difficulty, he just simply put some directives to get more loot. He can choose 1 for 25% more, 2 for 50% more and so on..

Comment if you like this idea..

It should also apply for The Summit.

    I agree.

Honestly, the more difficult you make the game for yourself the better the rewards should grow..
I'm not saying make it rain god rolls or anything like that, but make it something worth going full on, other than just because ya feel like it.. More risk same reward seems kind of silly..
It should be more risk more reward..
Fun of the game will only get you so far until that wears off..Then the grind comes into play and you'll make it feel more like a job than a game if there isn't any real reason to be there when you can get the same stuff not going full on..

Rework directives to be actual modifiers.

I think directives as a whole need a rework. Right now they're just handicaps nothing more.
Imagine if the directives worked differently.

Want to play this mission with more dogs spawing? Maybe at least 3 heavies in every room?
or even go to the extreme and a mission with only dogs like that room in federal emergency bunker on heroic invaded. Or a mission with only heavies.

Give us as player some ways of being really strong at the cost of xp and drops. Just you know .. for fun ?
Wouldn't that add easy replayability ?

Give us a way to modify the mission to our liking and reward accordingly.
I think that would breath life into this game like nothing else can for the amount of money and work that has to go into it in.

I've been saying this for a while. XP is an ok bonus to receive but pretty pointless after SHD 1000, except for showing off. There would be more of an incentive if they slightly raised item power. I agree we should get some more directives with bigger modifiers, like "every enemy is an elite" etc. etc. with each directive carefully looked at in terms of how much harder it makes the content and then the "item power" increased accordingly.

i am gonna repost my own post here:

this whole spark of discussion avout the directives really triggered me too now

they literally have no benefit at all, they make it more difficult, yes, but you get some XP more that, like rifle said, above 1000 are completely useless, since the crates also are 100% garbage.
i am 900 now, i do everything with heroic and medpack+fog+special ammo directive.

i love my ecplise build too (that will be nerfed 25% in next patch, sadly) that becomes useless with the cool skills dir. you lose all 6 charges on the chem launcher if you use the 2nd skill. gamebreaking for a skillbuild. so one directve effectivly makes the game less diverse.

after i reach 1000, i will never use directives anymore, why should i?

devs need to adress this. also the health bonus of the watch is completely useless...wow 20k more health, i think in heroic there is literally nothing that can do that low damage, so useless as well.

there need to be either better rolls, more drops, or SOMETHING other than just XP for using directives

alsoalso: ammo hoarder directive on the higher tier/levels is also just gamebreaking, since you need the ammo, and an LMG with 200 bullets...ehm, no
