Apologies if this information is already well known, but I have searched around and couldn't find any solid answers. Does anyone know if when you upgrade from the PS4 version of the game to the PS5 version if you can continue the game where you left off?
I know that you can carry over progress on the Xbox version, but I've seen no confirmation that this is the case for the PlayStation version. I also know that you can transfer save data for PS4 games over to the PS5 so you can continue playing your PS4 games on the PS5, but, from what I have seen, there is no clarification that the PS4 save data will be compatible with PS5 versions of the same game.
Hi Jackthekingsmit, welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately, I don't think that we have information about the save game transfer for PS4 <----> PS5 but just for Xbox (from Ubisoft).
I would be very surprised if we don't see the same save game transferability for PlayStation (but obviously I can't know that for sure)
I wish there was some clarification on this issue, the fact they haven't confirmed anything is mildly concerning, makes me think you won't be able to transfer your progress. It has been confirmed that the Avengers game is able to carry over progress, so that gives me a little hope because it at least shows it's possible.

We know they're doing cross-generation progression for Rainbow Six Siege, so I hope that they are able to do it for their other titles on PS5 as well.
