Still getting many rainbow loot drops. Answer me this: If one of the secondary attributes were 100% (like the majority wanted) the same color as the primary. How will that prevent hybrid builds? Last time I checked, you can change 1 attribute to whatever colour you'd like, making it a rainbow for all you hybrid users!
Simple:
2R, 1B can become 1R, 1B, 1Y (hybrid wet dream)
2B, 1R can become 1B, 1R, 1Y (hybrid wet dream)
2Y, 1B can become 1Y, 1R, 1B (hybrid wet dream)
Hybrid people, notice how it would help you make a rainbow roll no matter what drop it would be 100% of the time?
But 1R, 1B, 1Y is IMPOSSIBLE to make into all red or all blue or all yellow.
Why are so many players still crying about rainbow loot? Every game has loot trash, you want to completely eliminate trash from this game with the ability to recalibrate the attribute. There should also be rainbow loot because new brands, exotics, and gear sets will be added in the future that will be able to work with "rainbow" gear. (As of today, G. Sombra Cheska). Everything except the chest and backpack can be obtained in good quality and quickly enough. Stop whining.
About hybrid builds... I have 2 Cheska that I use in the HazP build with LeadyD. Both have HP as the first attribute, CD as the second, and the main attribute is recalibrated to armor. With a 100% attribute, the chance of knocking out the same gear will be 2 times less (the first one should always be red guaranteed-CritD). The same can be said about many other brands - they will be much more difficult to get.
You don't understand what a lot of people are talking about when mentioning "hybrid".Originally Posted by Rollie9813 Go to original post
With a 100% color chance of 1 attribute to be like core, that means it will be impossible to get a Full red badger (blue core), full yellow golan or grupo (blue and red cores).
This pieces are what makes a status, explosive artillery, or shotgun build optimised.
Hybrid does not mean rainbow...
You still haven't specified what this means. What percentage out of how many items? If your complaint is that rainbow loot exists at all, then you're going to have to make a more persuasive case than all the people who complained about the original 100% change.Originally Posted by Rollie9813 Go to original post
I'm in the minority where i don't mind rainbow loot that much, I more have a problem with the lack of high rolls in general.
That being said. When i did the summit i stopped at floor 19 (due to bugged enemies). Up to that point every single item that droppen for me did not have the first attribute rolled the same as the core. Make of that what you will.
Out of how many items? While RNG will vary, a large sample size helps iron that out. Of 235 items, 56% (131) were the same color for me, and only 15% were rainbows. Suspiciouspixel had slightly better results.Originally Posted by SoulBrotherNr3 Go to original post
Rainbow loot would not matter if loot quality and number of loot drops would be better related to the difficulty (including directives used)!
Somehow, i have the feeling that RNG in the Division is not real RNG but just a bad serverfunction creating numbers, which do not relate to real RNG.
For example: How come, that if I and a player from my group get 2 almost 100% identical items at the same time. How come, that 70% of red attribute max rolls are "weapon handling". How come that I mostly get items with very similar attributes within 30 minutes or so and then it changes completely for something else?
This is no RNG. This feels lika a bad implemented server-created method of pretending to be RNG.
Cool story bro. "stop whining" "this is what I do". Many people, like myself, complain about the rainbow rolls because it remains an issue.Originally Posted by K.A.0.S Go to original post
Well the point of update was not to delete "rainbow loot" but make it less frequent enough to the point it wont be 30% of your drop rate. So the real important part is to know how many of all the drops you got are rainbow lootOriginally Posted by Rollie9813 Go to original post
