the least amount possible, the minimum playerbase was 1 million by my calculations based on the may events rankings...now is official, it was the bare minimum so KUDOS to devs.
25 MILLION PLAYERS OFFICIALLY said Klarissa Armada, so for honor is well and strong!(at least at sales, don´t know if they are concurrent players)
now it´s time to improve balance for real! there is for honor for a while! we need to look at some mistreated heros!
new event is looking great, more lore is always welcome.More colors that before were unusable in dominion and breach, more armors too!
Bro that's 25 million accounts world wide created over 4 years, not people actually playing this game.
I used to play the MMO Black Desert Online and lemme tell you that company would claim ridiculous things like 10 million players being online with over 3 million in NA alone, and everyone knew that was absolute BS because that would set the servers on fire in all areas of the game. Grind spots would have thousands of people on every channel at every corner, the economy would break, and node wars would have 100's of guilds on every node every night of the week lmao. No sir.
Companies flaunt the data of someone creating an account or having the game added to their Steam library as "a player." For Honor has been given away on Steam, at the Ubi store, and on the Epic store. Steam being the biggest platform, all For Honor needs to be is free and on the front page of Steam and people will lick "add to my library" and never even download or play the game ever, and yet they will be counted as a "player."
For Honor has had the same niche and stable playerbase for my brief stay so far this last year and a half. It's never as "dead" as people claim, but it sure as hell isn't exactly "popular" either. It is stable tho IMO.
I understand that is the number of accounts created to play for honor, also that maybe they are exagerating them, homever even if it is the case to have 25 million registered players is a good thing,If they are growing is because more are buying the game, also we don´t know really if this are active players or not, that´s why the avg 5 to 7k in steam are not really reliable to know the real numbers of potential players of for honor. 25 million could be possible but as I found maybe only 1 million or a little more are playing in a selected two week timeframe, I mean 1 million concurrent players all platforms combined. But having 25 million customers is the real thing here because if they are active accounts , even if most of them just play once per month thay are still potential buyers of steel packs, battle passes etc.Originally Posted by FuncK_D Go to original post
What anyone can see in the next event is the total number of players in their platform(in their period of time) by playing the minimum requirements to be in the ranking(last), for each faction,to later sum it up when the event is done. I already did an investigation and it was nearly 800,000 players at the may events, not counting others who only did dead modes or custom matches, or just doing cosmetics etc.but is the bare minimum, it could be actually much more. The way I see it is that there are 25 million players active, not concurrent, among the three platforms, but 25 million is a really big base of potential customers. Not many games have that, sadly only ubisoft can know how many concurrent players are exactly in a determined timeframe or if this "25 million players" are actually playing and when.
My data nerd within would love to see that information man.
