I suspect that they will just unlock eastern island. I suspect devs should do that in raid 2 or transcendance, but looks like it might be expansion for year 2. I honestly feel if there was a year 2, which there probably will be since it's more profitable for Ubisoft, I think it would only be fair that all the players who bought at launch should get it for free, if they're doing the same system, or for them to revert back to releasing fully free updates with paid cosmetics.
Something else to think about, during the trailer where it shows the drones falling from the sky at the training area. It very briefly shows Outcasts/rebels joining in the fight does this mean that we may also see the imminent return of outcasts activity (they did say that they had to turn it off to make sure it would work with the coming update)

I played last night, and I am still seeing the "improved" ballistics. But I also noticed that the animation for the rounds are not matching the actual impact.
This is incredibly noticeable when using high powered optics, or SMGs.
Much like when playing co-op, you'll see your team's rounds fall drastically short of their targets, but the rounds are still connecting with the said target. I think this is also the cause of the "heart attack sync shots". The visuals are way off from the actual mechanic.
