Hello thank you for the reply,
I have taken these screenshots from someone in the Ultrawide Discord.
Screenshot one: In game from your POV shows black bars https://gyazo.com/ee1d15a05d2d010a8ff909a43e3cc88c
Screenshot two: This makes me believe it is a bug, because our games go into ultrawide (for me 3840x1080) while we are in a kill cam https://gyazo.com/bdf34f9a286b6575dcbd1efe8c43440e
I have tried to switch my game into windowed mode with full resolution my monitor allows and I still see the black bars.
Its artificially blocked, if they go down the route of valorant and try passing it off as an unfair advantage then they need to explain why pro's don't use them, and why people are playing on 16:9 monitors with a 4:3 aspect ratio to get fatter targets.
This is PC if unfair advantages on a hardware scale is going to be bought in then everyone needs to be capped to 30 fps and aspect ratio locked to 16:9 with a fixed FOV.
What do you mean manually increasing the res like in config file you gotta elaborate pleaseOriginally Posted by UBI-Froggard Go to original post

Apologies for the confusion. We have 2 similar investigations ongoing and the answer given was incorrect.
There is no valid workaround at this time, but we are working to implement a fix.
Ah I see, that is interesting!Originally Posted by Spyder.ZG7 Go to original post
I'm sure we'll have this resolved very soon, apologies for the inconvenience.
Hey TerkkariTero,
Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry to hear about this.
As it stands, I can confirm that we are aware of an issue with ultra-wide monitors and the default resolution setting.
Our apologies about the inconvenience this may be causing and in the meantime, we would ask you to manually set the resolution to a higher one.
Should you have any questions, let us know!

Thank you.
Is there any headway on this issue with ultra wide monitors? I'm seeing the following:
1 - Playing lone wolf on ultra wide, I can choose my spawn location and operator, then it goes to load and sits there with the spinning six. Longest I've waited is about 25 minutes. No joy.
2 - Fired it up after killing it and moved it to my 1920 x 1080 monitor off to the side. I don't like it because it feels like I'm pulling to the left when I'm running straight (monitor position, that is). But the game works fine.
3 - Load another lone wolf game, spawn in...BUT...now I drag it to my ultra wide monitor and change it to 3840 x 1080 in the game. It goes into ultra wide and plays perfectly normally.
4 - Load the game again, this time play a situation on my ultrawide monitor. This one plays perfectly fine without having to drag it over from a smaller monitor.
It looks like, for me at least, the issue is just loading into the game itself during the Lone Wolf version of training (others may do this also, but I mainly just play these to kill some time during lunch).
Hello K0LDPHUSI0N, thank you for your post and sharing your own findings and workaround for moving the game from one screen to another.
At the moment this issue is still under investigation to resolve as we were able to reproduce the issue ourselves on various set ups, we will do our best to update everyone in the forum when we have another update.
5120 x 1440 is broken again in the latest patch - the version that has the new (somewhat unfavorable) UI. With this resolution there are black bars at the sides again. It makes no difference if it's full screen, windowed version or borderless.
It seems to go through a cycle of broken, then fixed again then broken again.
Please can you patch again to fix full screen with this resolution.
I have tried multiple settings, including running in windowed mode and other such work arounds. I verified drivers are all correct and I can confirm this is broken still.Originally Posted by UbiSushiVamp Go to original post
