I like mostly bug-free games. I know people say I have a unique copy, but that's my experience.Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post
I like many Ubi games, not all. I do like the games to be different. But my military knowledge is pretty much nil, so if there's something wrong I wouldn't have a scooby.
I haven't run into a lot of bugs either, I just opt not to say that when people bring up bugs they do experience.Originally Posted by SofaJockey Go to original post
My issues with the game revolve more around marketing as a bigger better Wildlands and then delivering a very anemic campaign by comparison. A considerably higher price for a third of the content.
BG3 is launching its Beta with more playable content than Breakpoint had on whole.
Fair points. If I had a PC I'd have some of that BG3. Will need to wait until a console version.Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post![]()
All kidding aside and my frustrations with aspects of this game, I actually do like aspects of it. I am not quite as bug free as sofa jockey (and that may be largely due to definition). My game doesn't crash, I don't have the vertical prone issue etc, but there is a lot of really bad stuff I see that is jarring though the game "functions".
It is in my mind not a ghost recon game and I don't play it from that perspective so that does change things a lot. I pretty much ignore what I consider a very poorly done campaign and play my own creative perspective. Within that the game does work for me. Ubi is slowly making it better, but the most serious failings - the AI for example- have not seen much progress if any at all. At least the sammys don't scream when headshot.
With not having much 'military shooter' experience I'm sure a lot of those issues go over my head, I'm not saying those issues are not there.Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
I'm still playing because I'm enjoying a light-RPG version of 'The Old Guard' that happens to contain a bit of shooting.
I accept I'm happy with pizza whilst others wanted steak (it may even be Hawaiian).

I still play Breakpoint sometimes because in short doses and some imagination on my part, I can become pretty immersed. I like "rucking" around the wilderness with my squad and moving tactically.
Then all the immersion is broken when I hear the dialog and watch the cutscenes![]()
I know I'm in the minority with what I'm about to say, but I still play Breakpoint because I sincerely love it. It scratches my itch for a third person tactical military shooter with an open world. In fact, it's that open world that keeps me coming back and still continues to amaze me with how beautiful it can be at times.. The sunsets, the moon on the water, the wind in the trees, that one field with the red flowers....I love all of that! Plus, it's fun to go out with my AI teammates now and free roam and shoot stuff. Lol.
