To start off, this is not an attack on Ubisoft but more of a constructive critique on their handling of this ongoing situation.
As someone who played The Division on PS4 in 2016 when I didn't have a PC, I was stoked to be able to claim it for free last week on Uplay.
After realising that the Season Pass was on sale for just around £7, I like many others, decided to go for the purchase.
Now back to the issue at hand, none of the Season Pass content that I like many pthers paid real money for has been accessible for almost a whole week now. Not only are the Season Pass items missing, but anything that's supposed to be claimed from the Rewards Claim Vendor, who's curenntly bugged meaning that no items that are purchased are able to be claimed.
For Ubisoft to offer a severely discounted Season Pass, cosmetics packs and virtual currency none of which are accessible in-game can very well be defined as a scam. The aforementioned items being unaccessible has been a known issue at Ubisoft for at least 4 days now. [B] Now I do understand that fixes may be harder to implement due to the current world situation, but the complete lack of communication with those who aren't rightfuly getting what they've paid for is utterly disrespectful and quite frankly disgraceful.
And yes, I've spoken to Ubisoft support who, to my understanding, aren't being updated on this issue neither. The developers and support staff aren'tat fault here, I'd guess this is due to the complete lack of care from the higher executives at Ubisoft, but what do I know.
I don't want to come across as overly negative, but a large part of the community is understandably frustrated about this issue.
To all the developers and support staff, we are thankful for your work during these difficult times. And to whoever is responsible for this mess, please be more transparent.
Your post seems OK! But 7 days.at least 4 days now.
I bought all 3 DLC on September 1 and found that the add-on do not work. .
On the 2nd of September I was sent to UbiSoft a complaint № 12604136 about it
Sorry, but one week to solve so easy problem is too much. This is my personal opinion. I am entitled to it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For this week me and all people have passed the game for 100% and can not play further, because dozens & dozens of tasks in the game require DLC
Here ► https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...howing-In-Game
TOTAL = 230 posts from people who can't open DLC in the game
But we must take into account that there are thousands of people who do not know where to complain
Who does not know about this forum. There are thousands ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At the moment I am done playing. I have not played for three days. Since I finished the main campaign for 100% and I have a lot of of game's tasks that require a DLC which I bought but which I do not have in the game 😱 😈 😍
the maximum that they can answer to this is - "we are still investigating, sorry and thanks for your patience." . they will not keep us informed, they will never say what they managed to find out and at least an approximate timeframe for fixing this bug. just because they can't. they are forbidden to say anything like that. they are forbidden to say even approximate terms, because they think that if they do not get into them, this will cause even more criticism than 7 days of lack of access to the DLC. and nothing will change in their behavior even if they fix it for several months.
as for your message, they will not even touch them, they are not interested in them, and will in no way affect the speed of their work to fix this bug. and most likely this is not a priority. because the game is not new for them, and they would be happy to refuse its support in principle. on this we can write as much as we like, create themes, criticize and everything else in this direction. nothing will change. Whenever they do it, maybe in a week, maybe in a month, as they do, you will go into the game and maybe you will be glad if by that time you still remember that it exists at all and will not get carried away by any other game.
and sorry for my English, this is not my native language, and I studied completely different languages - I wrote it as best I could, with the help of a translator =)
Been waiting patiently as well for my season pass to activate.
While a lot of companies have their issues and nothing is bug free and oversights happen, yada yada yada, its always Ubisoft that ***** up the most.
Ive not touched or bought an Ubisoft game in years, a boycott if you will, always issues with bugs and glitches in their games. Some even game breaking.
A friend of mine pushed me into trying The Division,it was free so why not right, maybe Ubisoft could redeem themselves a little.
Which they did. The Division is a decent game. Finally after years i felt Okay buying something. The season pass is a great deal, especially since pretty much all the good stuff is in there. And what of course happens? Locked out of something i purchased. No communication, nothing.
Sadly gonna say that im going to continue my boycott of never buying an Ubisoft game again.
Im mostly disappointed in myself thinking that a greedy company like Ubisoft could change for the better. Im a stupid man.
do not worry the same thing happened in Breakpoint a few months ago it will only take a few weeks before they solve the problem.
the most fun is that they don't solve anything they just manually send things to people. because the problem continues to happen constantly and apparently even in different games
great you trying to be politically correct but UBI really doesn't deserve it
