    This is the end?

For honor is...sorry was a pretty nice game and stuff but after CCU and some patches ppl decided to quit the game and I'm not even surprised I'm the one of these ppl.
I could talk about what they were trying to do but after all it gave them ultra negative feedback and many ppl wanna many things (Not all of them) before ccu.
Anyway.. Now we could see ubi made 75% discount on for honor... So it will help the game? I don't think so... reddit...Steam and even here we have mostly negative opinions about this game so in my opinion its just desperate trying to get as many new players as possible to fill a gap... And to be honest.. On steam is Max 4900 ppl playing this game after changes so... It will help this game? Or its another desperate way out?

    Nothing will change.

We will keep our playerbase that was pretty much glued to a number around 5k which ain’t bad for a fighting game. (Steam numbers only)

The changes where rather well received at least on pc, currently it’s just the vocal people that always seem to complain about something.

Give it a few weeks and even that vocal will die out till the next update.

I answered this with a lot of detail(passed from gamer to Public accountant with a specialty in data analysis) in the other post when you asked if someone knows how players are in for honor actually , like gaser says , nothing will change.

check it if you want to know how strong in fact for honor is. And that´s why they keep doing customizations and updates...the game is still making money.

I will post it here also so others with your concerns can see without the hassle of finding your question in the other post.

More than 800,000 it seems. platforms combined of course, based on the ranking counters for the events of may, I did a little investigation. for this is good to know how "concurrent" means for Steam data. That isn't an accumulated total, that just shows the amount of players on at the same time. They only do hourly readings and only publish an hourly average or the hour reading that had the most (peak). They do not differentiate between unique accounts. 5000 players on at 10am will be different than 5000 players on at 10pm, yet it will only show a 5000 player average or peak numbers of that day or month. You may need to relook at how that data is represented an used.

    Platform Vikings + % Knights + % Samurai + % Totals + % Date of Events
    PS4 166,870+ (44.3%) 104,318+ (27.7%) 105,536+ (28%) 376,724+ (47.3%) 14-28MAY
    XBox 111,713+ (44.4%%) 78,321+ (31.1%) 61,739+ (24.5%) 251,773+ (31.6%) 30APR-14MAY
    PC 72,100+ (42.8%) 49,821+ (29.6%) 46,512+ (27.6%) 168,433+ (21.1%) 30APR-14MAY
    Combined 350,683+ (44%) 232,460+ (29.2%) 213,787+ (26.8%) 796,930+ May 2020

By doing only the minimum requirement, at the most optimal time to gather the lowest possible ranking, one can see a snapshot of active player counts for these timeframes of these two week Challenge Events. All totals are in "At least this many played" numbers for only the specified timeframes. More players would definitely have played during this month, but not less.

This was calculated using the data among the three platforms, based on active accounts with at least one played match during the timeframe so thay are counted in the ranking of the events.

Inactive accounts do not get rankings, they have to actively participate (complete a match) during these events. Logging in, Customize Menus, Training Arena, and Apprentice/Warrior Trials do not grant rankings. Again, only completing a match during these timeframes will count and only active accounts will receive rankings.

covid 19 bolstered the playerbase, that by some calculations were decreasing little bylittle since december 2019. Now if UBI is trying to maintain or increase or get the best of it only they know.

*tried to do my best with the table but the format does not allow me.

Probably maintains the same numbers or a little less cause many uninstalled, but many purchased the game cheap or returned for the ccu.
    <note
Uplay and Epic don´t publish numbers of concurrent players.

This is only an aproximation, based on a two week timeframe data from the rankings, numbers could be higher, but not less in that timeframe.

    Conclussion:For honor is not dead

Now as a streamer and youtuber I find the number of viewers on twitch concerning, but that´s another topic more related to the type of game in which playing it is much funnier than seeing it.
