I absolutely loved this game. The feel of it, the gritty and tense nature of it. The fact that out of all the games I play, this one's probably the most realistic possibility for the future.
There are obviously some downsides to it, some minor and some pretty terminal, but when I consider all the time I put in (that I wasn't in loading screens or freezing/crashing out of Legendary runs), I got way more than my moneys' worth.
Playing this as much as I have over the last week or so, I've matchmade (largely Challenging, largely Heroic, a few attempts at Legendary) and had zero others join up (maybe 30-40+ missions).. My clan is totally dead now, and I barely get a bite when I matchmake for random bounties or free roam. I'm in the endgame, I finished the DLC and I've gotten everything done in the current event that I wanted to. There's just nobody to play with.
And that makes me sad. I don't blame the people I used to play with for leaving, and I wouldn't blame them for not coming back, but it's still a shame. I hope The Division 3 ends up being a bit better at hooking players in and keeping them.
I doubt many of us will buy a Division 3. Div 1 was in a great spot at the end. They killed it over many many months now and showed they are unable to listen to the community. Why should it be different in game 3. Maybe I will buy it when its on sale for 3$. But the totally messed up healing trapped was the last nail in the coffin for me and my friends.
I have recently downloaded TD 1 for free (It's still available until the 8th, I think) and I am enjoying it so much I am not even thinking of coming back to the Division 2. I definitely will not be buying the Division 3. I had the TD1 Gold edition on release but now I have just the base game for free. I remember having trouble with 3 missions I found hard to complete and feel it'll be the same this time around. But it is fun and DR Kandel and Lau having little digs at each other makes the game good.
TD2 feels 2 PC and just doesn't feel like TD1 did.
Yes, I've killed alex a few times already.
I partially agree with the OP. It's been my daily game for over a year. I have a more or less active clan and a Discord channel with PVE / PVP players. I love the game and when I have free time, that's where I'm spending time with friends. We do missions in heroic and legendary, raids, for the enjoyment more than for the loot. Just yesterday I finished "The Summit", did three legendary and other missions. I played hours of The Division (1).
But I have to agree that the game is dying. I am not complaining about the loot. It could be better but I think the problem is the lack of content. Some will already say that The Summit is content. Of course it is. But for how long? Looking at the hours I spent this weekend on the skyscraper, I consider The Summit to be at the level of Kenley College. Boring and with no great meta but to reach the 100th floor. And after this??? If there is any incentive, you can make the floors you want. If they do it like they did with Kenley College, which opens only at certain times, it will be forgotten and there will be one more content that is badly used.
Wasn't that what Division 2 was meant to do when people raised the same concerns about Division 1?Originally Posted by Lets Wipe Go to original post
See how this vicious cycle will continue with Division 3?
I'm not having problems matchmaking in missions & such, east coast here, on X1X.
Really don't like it when people try to speak on behalf of everyone's current experience in the game.
If your clan is done, find a new one. Sitting around thinking that problem will solve itself will get you nowhere.
There are plenty of active open clans for the game on xbox.
Given most people digitally download a game pre-ordering should be largely irrelevant.Originally Posted by Koteletten Go to original post
