Games don't ever shoot to be perfectly balanced. That removes the importance of player choice and fundamentally takes the fun out of making interesting picks.Originally Posted by guest-4xn53EA8 Go to original post
You should look into a video called "perfect imbalance" by extra credits if you want to learn more about this concept.
General balance wise though the game has continually gone in a linear progression towards making the roster closer and closer together. the CCU has done this as well.
Individual character balance still spikes a bit hard in some cases but for the most part it hasn't really impacted balance for the cast.
Yes i agree with you; main thing is her OP feats. Slightly reduce corruption dmg & reduce area of affect. That will help a lot. I also dont think she should have frame advantage of everyone for everything. Her enhanced lights are annoying af too lol.Originally Posted by Gaser. Go to original post
My point is some chars [like heavies] have more advantage. Assassins have no advantage at ALL & CCU has removed the heavy smacks of landing a heavy attack from a heavy char.
Highlander spams faster than Orochi or Aramusha. Just alotta stuff doesnt make logical sense. They have effectively removed most of the unique aspects that made characters different & fun.
Comments like this are the perfect proof that no matter how easy it is to deal with "lightspam", people on a certain skill level will always complain.Originally Posted by Rasboy29 Go to original post
You can literally just dodge out of light spam every time by spamming dodge after the first light hits you, you have frame advantage after a light hits you. Also, after a light finisher, it is your turn, your light will beat theirs.

What about characters like Jorm who have follow up undodgable lights? What about Highlander who has hyper armor follow ups? Gladiator who has 4 lights? Kensei? Raider? Nuxia?Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
Don't call it "easy to deal with" because it's "annoying to deal with"
