    Thank People For Backup

I was doing the Space Administration HQ Invaded mission solo when I got up to the Defend the Satellite Dishes part, I failed ten times in a row, just couldn't kill the enemies fast enough. Being an old guy (late sixties) my reflexes aren't what they used to be, I'm more a stay in cover and pick them off one at a time player now.

I decided for the first time to call for backup, and a player responded, I was so great full, we completed the mission, he was mowing them down faster than I could. At the end I wanted to give him a clap and a salute but the game had me use the down button on the D-Pad to dismiss a video of the progress. He disappeared before I could do it.

So my question is how do you thank someone for helping you at the time or afterwards. And kudos to anyone who answers someones call for help.

PS4, I wanted to give the player a clap and a salute, that's in the D-Pad down button, which was being used to dismiss a video with a delay.

I know there is supposed to be a way to give player(s) some sort of recognition, but I've never used it as I only team with friends.

To pay it forward when I logged on this afternoon I got a request for backup, answered it and we did the whole District Union Arena - Stronghold Mission together, so now I'm Tier 2.
