Lawbringer Rework or Hyper Armor Shove

Lawbringer's is the most heavily armored hero in the game but has no hyper armor. Meanwhile a lightly armored character like Berserker does? Not saying Berserker should lose it but the fact that Law's bash is easily dodged on reaction and has no hyper armor is ridiculous. He also has no forward advancing moves like a dodge heavy etc. This makes hit and run characters or light chain heros near impossible to approach, as he has no hyper armor or rush down moves to counter this playstyle. It would be great if Law either got his hyper armor shove back or a forward advancing heavy to give him some mobility or defense against these kinds of heroes. Please consider this if you are reading this Ubi. Thank you.

Hyper Armor on Shove won’t come back because it made the move completely brain dead.

Instant Hyper Armor and no recovery.

Lb is rather decent and still has a lot of strong points speaking for him.

Impale is still a great gank tool

Impale is still given on heavy parry which can result in: Wallsplat / Heavy / Light / chain finisher heavy

His shove from dodge still lacks any kind of recovery making it a strong defensive tool if used rightly.

He still has some of the highest Parry punishes in the game

    Highest HP Pool

Unlock zone in minion lane is unpunishable for any hero that does not have a full block counter move

Zone after parry is still a decent tool to get some breathing space and hit multiple enemies.

Depending on the kind of hit stun his follow up shove is sometimes rather impossible to dodge and allows him to light in to chain finisher which is decent pressure

Overall solid feats: Bodycount, Juggernaut, Righteous Parry (how it was called), Second wind, bomb feats

And his perk make him even better at tanking dmg in combo with his high HP pool.

While I would like a rework to him because his design is flawed, he still is decent enough to stay how he is and rework heroes that in more desperate need of a rework.

I agree that other heroes are in worse condition and other things are in more need of repair. I still feal that in deuls and Brawls he still has no mobility and cant turtle for that matter. The opponent has to come to him and he usually gets put immedietely on the defensive His shove is only useful in chain. Easily dealt with from neutral. Just saying sometime in the future this should at least be considered

If he needs hyperarmor somewhere, that is the top heavy finisher, and maybe (MAAAYBE) the longarm. If he needs anything else, that is not hyperarmor. If we go for the extreme, maybe he could throw a shove after a light as well, but if we give him that buff, Shove should get slower block recoveries (a dodge attack is the minimum punish it deserves that way).

    He has what?

He has the highest health pool in the game? By how much? The answer is: He has 140. This is the same as several other heroes and barely one light attack of health more than peacekeeper's. (Significant health disparity is a MYTH).

Body count is a good feat? How much HP and Stamina does it give back per? Once upon a time, it gave back 3,3--then it was 2,2--and now it is 1,1. On average, he nets a loss of HP due to mid-lower tier minion clearing capacity. Lawbringer essentially does NOT have a first feat, unfortunately.

Impaling charge in ganks? Alright, well you can block it for one. It's obsolete compared to Warlord--and especially Raider. But I guess it 'does damage,' right?

The only reason you should've ever been hit by dodge shove before was because he called you out correctly or you were being impatient and light spamming. The only pressure you have to worry about from him is a neutral light that can't even be chained into anything but a normal heavy attack (which will probably get option selected). You have control of the battle's pace--and dodge shove has always been reactable beyond reason.

The newer generation of players complained about this because he COULD force a slower, more patient approach again him; but even then, you would find that your character has the advantage over him in most regards.

This character is now easily in the bottom rung. I (and I'm sure most of you) CANNOT manage to lose against him if I (we) play any character beside the few who in as bad of a place as him.

Well said especially about the body count nerf.

id suggest just a quick stab move to stop runners something like most vanguards have and to be honest i think most people in the game have a forward dash heavy move so ya i do think he should get a quick stab and a heavy stab move with longer range

LB went from op to terrible and I just think he needs a way to enter chains without throwing a heavy. Dirty Scissors said it quite well. Without a way to enter chains besides heavies (non viable), no hyper armor, or mobility. He is an armored knight stuck in the bog. He sits there waiting for you to come kill him with no way of defending because we all know this game is offense countering offense which in turn is countered with more offense. LB was made to be a hero with strong defensive capabilities. He countered impatient mashers better than any other hero. now he is in the worst spot for this. If it were up to me I would restore the balance of defense and offense we had post CC change then work on hero balancing then the other stuff like COLOR CHANGES that the devs seem to think is more important. Some say that this game used to be mostly def and complained. This resulted in the state of FH we have now. That was only TRUE FOR THE MASHERS who needed to be reminded of this thing called a moveset. It was purely there fault that there light mashing resulted in them getting parried. I do not think any hero can be made balanced the way the game is now because all you see is lights and dodge attacks and the odd heavy from from a pure luck or prediction based light parry any way.
