    Assassins disadvantage in gaining revenge...

    More of a question at this stage.... It is more difficult to obtain revenge as an assassin class atm.

    I am pretty certain it is more difficult for assasins to physically gain revenage atm. If you want to be simple about it... we have less health, some heavies can gain revenge by purely taking damage. It is pretty easy for an assassin to be completely wiped out by 2 heavies even with a parry and NOT get revenge?!

    I know I am here constantly complaining about assass but playing the game straight for 2 weeks after a break and this CCU update I feel like they are a hollow class.

    Has this been brought up before cause imo it is glaringly obvious : /

    Actually revenge gain is based on how much Health your hero has.

    Assassins get there revenge much faster then most high HP classes.

    i think assassins are generally in bad place right now. they are trading in hp, guard, attack speed (which is now normalized) and etc. but gain nothing in return. People say PK is in bad place? look at berserker, no speed, no hp, all attacks are extremely easy to parry. his heavies dont hit through blocks, dodge is crap, reflex guard? there is no point playing assassins right now at all.

    Zerker is still one of the best assassins in the game next to shaman...

    CCU not really changed much about the fact that they are the assassins that actually are worth to play.

    I hoped there would be something % based on revenge gain against health but honestly I don't feel like it's working : / ... This obviously mixed in with the fact reflex guard is a big joke means that you just melt in 2 v 1s with nooo site of revenge.

    I play shaman as well as orochi and yeah shaman honestly doesn't feel like I am playing dark souls anymore. Zerker I can also see is capable of holding his own but only because of his hyper Armour is silly and he has good damage. I will say similar to orochi he takes alot of fluff to play well and I respect that... to many other class's getting an easy job with soft feints while we are left drowning.

    I agree the assassin class is FUBAR atm but I am hoping making posts like this can do something about it.... they have been broken for a long time.

    Hmm maybe I shouldn't blame CCU then but something feel's different, recovery or something I can't put my finger on. Getting light spammed by heavies pretty real though..

    Berzerker, shaman, and gladiator are all very strong at the moment with Nuxia not being far behind. It's really only shinobi, pk, and orochi who are bad. And two of those have been bad for a very long time now. I think you need to hit the books/training room if you seriously think all assassins are performing poorly right now.

    I would agree Glad played well is pretty strong.. lots of people playing him just checking the zone / light mix ups which is depressing -_-

    When you say only 2 have been bad forever, can we cut out the fact that orochi on release was okay but like shortly afterwards has been in the same rut as PK / Shinobi. I know PK / shino need some work and I would agree but Orochi is far from what it should / could be....

    Zerker is only on the map because of HA.

    I would not say those 3 are very very strong though ... they are strong for assassins nothing more.

    Orochi was only ever good in the closed beta when his storm rush baits were absurdly safe and cheap stamina wise on top of deflects being just matching guard on parry flash. Beyond that he's always been a poor hero. Only gaining some ground after his rework.

    Glads I fight are using skewer mix ups and his dodge bashes quite well. he's pretty hard to deal with.

    Shaman is a staple pick in dominion and has been since she was added to the game. So no, it's not "she's strong for an assassin" She's a strong hero period.

    Berzerker is a hero that gets better as you get better with the fundamentals of the game. Armor doesn't make the hero. There are several other aspects about him that make him strong. He was also a long time pick for dominion. Only being seen less because Black prior brought more team utility and could anti gank as well. Now BP is replaced by warlord. Which has reopened the door for berzerker.

    Yeah my bad, I play shaman a lot and honestly can really be a nuisance with her to pretty much anyone (kensie can make you silly sometimes)

    I think it's cause I only ever fight zerker as assass for someone with HA armour like that and thats his free meals.

    Rochi just needs some sort of opener.. when people have nothing to fear apart from what they can see and a hard feint gb it is a struggle being so predictable.

    Speaking about things on here makes me realise how much people actually role characters based on changed / meta. I don't really do this so probably why I feel like I **** deal for characters often.

    His unblockable is kind of an opener if you buffer it's input. Buffering his heavy inputs in general is a good idea since he's one of the few heros who has a shorter branch in time if you do so. Basically just means people can't stuff your heavy mix ups. It's not super strong mind you. But it's not easy to deal with unless you are good enough to react to parry flash consistently.
    I have ideas for him but I don't want to get off track.

    I play like almost the entire roster. So i'm not as good as I could be because I don't stick to one hero to get really good with them. But i'm pretty decent with most.
