Time to drop reflex guard ?!

Not crying about it I am just wondering why it's even a thing anymore ?

I think early days it was something to do with recovery so made assassins faster ?! I could be wrong...

Anyway all that is ancient history now so I am wondering why it even still exists in the game ? Currently it's just another pos the assassin class doesn't need (or seem to have any real reason for anymore).

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think I know the answer: they should drop neutral stances in order to do that. Some heroes like pk would look very stupid always stuck in one guard (I could live with that, but I am pretty sure this is the reason).

Yeah, I am willing to look stupid to try and get a leg up here.. dominion as an assassin is like playing the game on nightmare mode atm.

    It's literally backwards..

Yeah, assassins currently has nothing. In an MMO like WOW, they have a clear strenght: they have stealth, and if they catch anyone alone, they most likely stunlock and kill them. They usually also have great dps. Here, they retain bad survivability, bad range, bad teamfight potential, while they at the same time lack rogues traditional advantages (mobility, stealth, high dps, extremely good duelist).

The devs have stated they do not have plans to change guard states at all. So I doubt it'll go anywhere. While this sucks I do wish they'd at least make solid guard heros drop their guard when they dodge.

I happy to keep reflex guard... but it would be good to get something... ANYTHING in relation to having a fair disadvantage to suffering it... also the excuse of you can deflect just doesn't cut it imo.. deflects are stupidly dangerous and poor mechanic which if anything should be made easier.

Just the the amount of things weighing down the assassin class is completely unjustified imo... I see NO reason why Ubi wouldn't throw us a bone : /

I've never been apart of the group that thinks reflex guard is awful. I'm fine with buffing it in super specific ways. But my issue more lies with the fact that we have two guard states to begin with. Either we should all have one or the other.

As far as assassins go I think they're more disadvantaged because of perk distribution. Heavies get all the good ones on top of getting more mileage out of revenge. Basically I don't think assassins are bad. I think heavies are too well off right now. And a lot of that has to deal with perks/feats. In duels/brawls everything is more even.

Hmmm I could go with that Knight about the feats but I still think if anything assassins should gain revenge easier.... It's tough though do you buff a class into catch up or nerf another class to make it equal :/

I have ALWAYS said, if you want to solve the gank problem put FF at 100% and input a grief delay system. 4 v 1 they could potentially do as much damage to each other and might give him a chance as most people will be throwing top attacks to stay clean of other people.

We could just make it standard for every assassin to have access to revenge attacks as a feat. That's really helpful in berzerker's case. Like once you get used to it it's hard to play him without it.

Yeah shaman has it as well I think and I have tried it as her but always take the damage reduction perk instead. I did notice the difference but I think just my play style but I always use my revenge on her super poorly ... derp ....

At this point I am open anything, it feels like a cheap fix but miracles cost blood haha
