The rainbow percentage has stayed relatively stable (13 - 15%), but the decrease in 1st attributes matching (60 - 56%) is a bit concerning.
I know this is side tracking from rainbow loot but the reason I'm doing heroic is to see the quality and so far it's awful. The only God roll I had funnily enough was rainbow and I even got a purple from a supply drop activity in New York.

Without having data at hand do you think that you are seeing less rainbow rolls for the item you would be farming for in the live game?

It's the PTS, so I haven't been paying attention. Partly because the new gear at the vendor is maxed, partly because it's been brands I don't have a need for. FWIW, of the 51 items I picked up yesterday, 6 had at least one roll maxed (if you include a 14.8 weapon damage), and 2 had two rolls maxed - none of which were rainbow. Usual caveats about small sample size and RNG may vary etc.

    Directive live Setting

Wouldn't it be easiest to make this option a setting? Say in the same place you set global difficulty? So you have a "switch" for loot being completely random as it is now, or with first slot matching color of core attribute? And then default this to how it is now for those who are not following this. Then a fairly simple tool tip to explain? I say this because doing it this way would eliminate pissing off one group or the other, or trying something in between that doesn't make anyone happy.

For me, I would switch OFF rainbow loot when that is what I am farming for, and switch it back when I am not. Seems like a great way to do it.

That was meant to say, "Directive LIKE setting"
