    Memento review

The backpack really is one of the best exotic to come to the game as it can be used in multiple builds and is going to make hybrids that much better. they only issue I found was when I received 30 stacks on the long term buff the icon displaying the buff was active would disappear after the initial time but I would still receive the perks of the long-term buff as I kept collecting trophies but there was no way of telling how long I had left on the buff as the icon disappeared after the first 300 seconds had passed.

I'll go against the crowd and say this exotic is absolutely terrible! Having all 3 main attributes, it is so obvious best in slot I can see hardly any build (except for Eclipse with Vile mask) for which any other exotic would be a better choice.

BTSU is better for healing builds.
Coyote's does not need to ramp up, plus it's a party usage.
    Tardigrade - party safe.
Sawyers - cool for sitting in one spot.
Ninjabyke - BiS for Chatterbox/Backfire. Plus pretty useful for large mag weapons or slow reload time guns.
Dodge city - oneshot kill with a Regulus in mind.
Imperial dynasty/Acosta - pretty good for CC builds.
Ridgeway - need more testing, but for close quarters it can be a pretty strong tanky chest. Just throw a hive and face tank spawn point.

The main thing with Memento is, that you need to Pick UP trophy FIRST. Plus it's bonuses depends on your stats. For example, any sniper build will ignore it. Diamondback build will ignore it. m1a will ignore it (25% from Vigilance is a bit easier to maintain). I can go on and on, but the truth is, that Memento is a good rush backpack for close quarters ONLY.

Dont forget every exotic is built to work in a certain way and doesnt always work with all builds for example BTSU focus is for healing, Coyotas and tardigrade are group support exotics you wouldnt see BTSU on a sniper build so why compare a backpack clearly made for getting close and personal to a sniper m1a build? It just doesnt seen like a fair comparison. You should compare it a smg build, a shotgun build or a dps/tank hybrid all the builds that can get you close enough to get the Trophies and if you think you cant use a m1a with it i was using one and getting Trophies with it was pretty easy. They only problem would be legendary as its a bit harder and risker to push for the trophies but my point is the exotic is good as what it was made for so dont compare it builds that require you to keep your distance as that is unfair comparison.

I really like the Memento backpack, and give it a 10/10 as well. If there was one playstyle that I could never properly master, it was the CQ SMG/Shotgun builds. I've seen several people do it successfully, and the recent changes to the Sawyer Knee pads + Intimidate on the Chest have made it viable again for burst damage, but it genuinely increased the risk materially, and there are clearly better risk/reward builds out there currently, that take far LESS time to clear a Heroic and/or Legendary mission. As such, I strongly support the Memento, and I'm super curious to see the adoption rate, and whether everyone will be face-tanking each and every mission after a bit of time. I must say that this a good exotic to diversify the meta and playstyle a bit, and I'm all for that.

I agree. But its sad that it'll be nerfed into the ground as a few Youtubers have already declared it OP.
I believe it will need some adjustments in Pvp but calling something OP in this game is like digging a grave for that item.

I love this backpack but I struggle to find a good skill build with it. As you all know that skill build players play from cover and don't have the armor or weapon damage to go after those trophies. So I was wondering if the devs could include a mechanic were skill could pick up said trophies after a kill automatically.
