    "Read" ?

Hey Guys, i am trying my best to adapt to the new ccu, but i fail very hard. Like many others i am very frustrated.

I dont understand the point, that you "shouldnt" react in a combat game!? Thats what i hear and read all around. You should READ the enemy.

To be honest, yes there are many things that people repear, that can be read. But most of the time, someone spams their whole repartois / moveset which you just cannot react to when you **** up one block or so. Thats no fun anymore. I know, i can improve but i also know, i am not that bad.

Can someone link me a statement or something similar from ubisoft, where they talk about the ccu in the current state? In my opinion it was much better, when the system didnt help lightspamming with "frame advantage" and low stamina costs .

Some things are way to fast or nearly INSTANT. And my block doesnt seem to move, because after the first hit i get the next one and it seems to stop my blockmovement. I often have to wait for that ONE attack to dodge out of ... but in many cases befor that moment i have gotten so much dmg.

i want to love For Honor and just want to know, if it will be this way, or if there will be changes !?

I have no problem with fast lights .. I have problem with recovery times which are often longer than many combinations so you have no chance to block incoming attacks because you are still in recovery animations after hit / miss, Devs have not skilled people which can do a better balance. If you will play against spammer ..just disconnect and find better match.

I agree with the first part of what you said but to leave a match against a spammer is just a bad idea.
Sure you could do that and avoid the situation but you should learn how to beat someone who’s light spamming.
You have to try to block atleast one hit and try to back roll out of the fight to restart the fight again but this time try to land the first hit, beginning your chain of attacks. If all they do is spam it’s likely that they won’t block very well against your attacks. If you can read them well enough you could try to parry them, allowing you to begin your attacks upon them. But a lot of the knowledge of how to beat a spammer will come with experience, so leaving matches will only hurt your growth as a player.
