Hey xcel30 and AgentGeorgia, thanks for sharing your experiences of this issue here on the forums. We appreciate you both taking the time to reach out about this.

Could you please tell me any specific locations where you have encountered this behaviour, with a screenshot of your map with your location visible provided if possible? Can you also advise me whether restarting the game makes the objects stop floating, or if they still float even after a restart?

It appears to be more of a QA issue than a game breaking bug. Might have to do with engine/algorithm/program that runs or determines the room layouts and environmentals. It's usually gas cans and Jerry cans floating like a foot or two off to the side from the surface it's most likely supposed to be resting on. I've seen this issue most consistently with the explosive/fire gasoline environmentals and it's not level specific. Appears that way through a majority of the tower.

I've also seen doors slightly askew on almost every floor that allow the user to look past them either into other rooms or into "The Void" which can cause some weird lighting effects likely described in other bug reports. Some double doors are visually open, but one of the doors' physical collision model may still be closed causing players to run into an invisible wall on half the opening when attempting to enter a room. (Luckily, I only ran into one instance of this but did not remember to snag its physical location. It was near the lower floors in the 10-20 range.)

Thanks for replying with these further details, AgentGeorgia! Even if it's a small issue, it's still worth reporting. I've sent the devs the screenshots provided here as well as a link to the thread, so thank you again for taking the time to reach out!

You've mentioned that you see weird lighting effects surrounding doors; I believe I saw a similar report from xcel30 here that may be what you're referring to. Would you mind reviewing that thread and letting me know if the issues you're describing are similar? Are you able to provide some additional screenshots of the issue in that thread if so?

Finally, regarding the third issue you've mentioned with the invisible walls when passing through double doors that appear open - would you be able to capture a video of this occurring, if it can be reproduced? It looks like my colleague Spud reported this forward already, so it would be good to get some further evidence for the devs to look at!

Thank you for providing these additional screenshots of this issue, Vigilant_Memory! I'll pass them forward to the team.

I'm pleased to say that this issue has already been reproduced on our end, and investigations are ongoing. If anyone else should experience floating objects / debris, please don't hesitate to report your experiences here in this thread. Thank you!
