    Narration sound too low

I recently tried to play the game again and noticed 2 problems. My saves are gone. I checked the save game location, Windows backup and cloud sync and still no saved games. It is not critical as I was probably going to start a new game anyway to relearn.

The second issue is worse. When I start a new game, the music is loud enough, but I cannot hear the narration. Even after going further into the game, I still hear the music and sound effects, but cannot hear anyone's voices speaking. I have verified the game files and the sound within Windows and other games are fine. I have checked the PC and Uplay post instructions but still no changes.

    DXDiag:
    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, build 18362)
    Intel Core i7-3930k @ 3.2Ghz(12 CPU's)
    24576MB Ram
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 970

I have not contacted Uplay as the sound is perfect in The Division 2

    Thank you

    Hey there Will-Wilco,

Sorry to hear you're having issues.

Does this persist after toggling the in-game sound settings too?

    Characters talking

I can barely hear them when narrating or talking to each other. If they are talking directly to me, it is a bit louder. I am not sure what in-game sound setting you are referring to.

    thank you

There should be a tab in your options called "Audio." This support article provides more information.

If you have not already, I would recommend updating your audio drivers. It may also be worth checking your system and game audio settings. If you have it set to 7.1 or 5.1 surround and only have stereo speakers, the voice channels usually get routed to speakers that don't exist. This may be causing your muted sound.
