Exactly .... This is to promote Legions as well as the changes in the game formerly known as Gods and Monsters which looks like it got a major overhaul from what we saw a year or so agoOriginally Posted by SofaJockey Go to original post
Also Nvidia just announced a new promotion, a free copy of Watchdogs Legion with the purchase of a 3000 series GPU and that runs through to November 31 ,,,,, Looks like I'll be getting a free copy of Legions to go along with the free copy of Valhalla when I purchased a R7 3700X ...... That's cool because I thought I was going to have to replay Sh adow of the Tomb Raider if I wanted to try out Ray Tracing because right now it's the only game I have that supports it ..... I'd rather play something fresh and Legions does look interesting with the way you can jump into new characters ..... Why just play as a woman when you can play as a 80 year old woman Hacker/Hitman?
Anyway we didn't get much from Legions in the last event and this is likely the reason why, they couldn't show off the RTX 3000 Ray Tracing game play until after the offical launch of the RTX 3000 series .... So I expect there will be a large segment dedicated to Legions and RTX Ray Tracing and likely DLSS 2.0 enhancements too .... It would be nice if Legions included Nvidia's new SSD decompression technology that meets and exceeds the PS5 but that's probably asking for too much ..... Still instant load times and texture streaming in real time would be really cool
