Please stop the the artificial difficulty and spawning things behind, make it fun.

Sure spawn more enemies to take down but stop with the spawning behind you crap.

If your on heroic they always circle and attack from behind I have seen groups come up behind me but have never them spawn not like D1 they will spawn right on you in that game boom and their there your surrounded by yellows. I haven't seen that in this game. Not saying it doesn't happen.

Yeah I get you, sure they spawn and flank giving you time to move but, the spawn right next to you from some random door still happens and usually when in a heated battle. I should probably start recording the events to make it observable.

The game will never stop spawning things behind us. They'll never do that. Just give us a few M18 Claymore's to lay down, just in case . . .

its up to you to control where they spawn , they never come out out of thin air , they spawn in pre determined rooms and leave that room through doors , if you ignore this and keep pushing forward when you know they are certain to spawn then its your fault for not paying attention or predicting this behaviour.

in missions this is the easiest to predict but even in the open world you can take care and avoid it too , just dont play like a rambo with no care.

in open world i'd have to kindly dissagree, they can pop out of manholes right next to you.

true they can , but like i said that is predictable , not only you know that is bound to happen if you are doing an activity that has waves but you can also hear them and react to that , but the best bet is to predict and position yourself in a way you can stand a chance no matter what happens, if you play as a tank , shiled and pistol only you will learn this very fast.

sound is a very underrated thing in this game, saved my butt countless times because NPC´s love to announce they are flanking and their footsteps are also very clear , all of this are red flags for the players to take into account.

Yep, I have to disagree on this one too. I had a thread a month or two back where I was doing a Heroic bounty, and the last wave (where the named baddies are) was on a rooftop (this was in WONY). I carefully positioned myself behind the cover that was closest to an "open" edge. In other words, there was no building, no door, nothing behind me expect the edge of the rooftop and a three-story drop on the other side. Nothing could circle behind me unseen.

2/3 of the way through the bounty I start getting pummeled from behind, and I had just enough time to to spin and see four Elites that had just spawned there. Either they came out of "thin air" or they scaled the side of the building, because there was no other way for them to be in that location.
