M8, here Is an hipotesis: maybe, Just maybe, not everyone Is at your skill level? Then, if you are a PC player, You Saying "Just train" to a console player Is the equivalent of a professionale runner telling an everyday Joe smo to "Run faster".Originally Posted by Wyrd9- Go to original post
Just train that’s laughable. Ive been playing for four years and lights used to be manageable. Highlander and kensei lights come out so fast you cannot all block them with aramusha. And they for sure are faster than aramusha lights. See the indicator hit down get hit, your allblock pops up 100 ms later and you get gaurdbroken or hyper armored. And in what universe would a Highlander claymore be as fast as a katana? Highlander and kensei lights stagger lock like old school aramusha light spam. If you want to keep Highlander and kensei that fast FINE just give it to everyone else to and well all just be trash running around lightspamming. Thats what os basically happening now anyways.
@sanguinius-ix if you had played for more than four months you would remember how the developers “found things were” manageable with op moves like raider can dodge and get a free guard break. That ended quickly when they played a match against four raiders and streamed it🤣🤣🤣. The developers dont know unless we tell them. I think their exact words were raider is in a good place lol.
It's not ridiculous, it helps a lot to train before starting a PvP game.Originally Posted by karusk Go to original post
So you're saying you've been playing since the game came out in 2017, well for your information the lights were manageable because they were all above 500ms, in fact some light were at 600ms others at 700ms, which meant free parries of "light attacks" with subsequent punishment in heavy, the "gameplay" sucked so much that then the developers decided to improve the combat system by making light attacks faster and less punishable and finally they added the CCU to have a healthier and more balanced "gameplay" for everyone, maybe you don't know this, but now, you no longer can react on reaction to parry light attacks, but to parry them you have to act on prediction, what I mean is that you have to make a good reading.Originally Posted by karusk Go to original post
You just have to get used to the new animations. If a Highlander tries to lightly spam me he dies, and I'm not the only one, there are plenty of people who know how to counter a light Highlander spam.
Anyway, I play on PC, the game is clearly evolving to work best with the new technologies "Next Generation Console PlayStation5" or "Gaming PC", anyone who persists in playing with old generation PS4 technology and expect the game to work properly for them is just insane.
Wrong, it's 500ms like most every other hero, as I said before it's the animation of the second light attack that's wonky and I agree it needs to be fixed, however over time you get used to it and can counter the attack.Originally Posted by karusk Go to original post
The heroes that have 400ms attacks right now are these:
Peacekeeper.
Gladiator.
Berserker.
Valkyrie.
Aramusha. (Deadly Feint)
Tiandi.
Shaolin.
Nuxia.

A Claymore weighs approximately 5.5 pounds (2.5 kg), which is as much as an average newborn. I could swing a 5-pound baby all day long. Highlander has huge muscles in his arms, I bet he could swing a 5 lb baby like it was nothing, let alone his sword. Heck, he could probably wield two 5-pound babies at once! What I wrote about weight is true, go look it up on Wiki.Originally Posted by karusk Go to original post
...Anyway, this discussion of realism is only stupid.... If you're looking for realism in a game then you're doing it all wrong, because this is just a game.
In fact there are already fantasy feats like the Warmonger's "Corruption" or the Gryphon's "Dragonite", there are heroes who can skate around their opponent effortlessly, like the Kensei or the Tiandi, or another example is the Kensei using a Nodachi as if it were a foil.
I agree that bugs or game errors need to be sent to the developers, but you're wrong by stating that his light attack is faster than 500ms it's simply the animation that's shaky and also I'm guessing the developers already know about this problem, given the amount of people who have noticed it and sent feedback to the developers.Originally Posted by karusk Go to original post
In fact, Highlander needs a rework to fix the bugs (tech) in his current state, also a needs a rework to get some buffs since he is literally a crippled character in a game where almost everyone is on steroids, especially after this TG that boosted 7 out of 28 characters.
If you don't believe us watch this video on Reddit half of Highlander's move kit is no longer usable properly.

Highlander now keeps company with Shinobi in terms of weakness, the only difference being that Shinobi will soon receive a rework while Highlander will not.
Highlander also became the slowest hero in the entire game, as Shugoki got a "Super Sprint Speed".
