I was looking for a Stoner LAMG must have opened 50 weapon cases over the last few days, finally got one, gear score a whopping 265, thanks gear gods.
Open world boxes are supposed to have more garbage then usable items, and that makes sense.
Otherwise, we would just run around oppening boxes on the floor, instead of playing the activities...

Just give us the recal station I mean its not like we use all the resources now, at least it would give people a reason to farm for resources to roll gear as long as you have the attribute in your library
    Maybe something like this…?:

    https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...the-next-patch

Give us the possibilty to change everything on any Gear/Weapon, but limit the ammount of recalibrations that we can do every week, buy making a new resource with "limited" access to it.
This way we could have the Gear/Weapons the way we want, but we would have to make a choice of what areour priorities, instead of having everything maxed out within a week like we have in TD1...

Yes, but getting MORE items with higher stats means that we would get what we want after some grind.

Right now the problem is that most items roll on the lower range of their power, with very low stats, so when we get an item with very high (or maxed out) stats, they are mostly rainbow.

Having the gear/weapons allways drop with higher stats on higher game dificulties, would mean that we would get rainbow loot, but also one color stat items, in (almost) the same proportion.

    Rainbow loot is a problem.

When I get something dropping with SMG damage but the attributes are 2 yellows. What the eff am I supposed to do with that?
Or a skill piece dropping with 2 reds?

I agree with loot quality being a major issue. Still . .

As the OP said, there's such a high chance for 60 - 70 % rolls to drop and too little chance for high rolls to drop.

And has anybody noticed how random gear drops have higher stats than the targeted loot? I find that really annoying.

Been targeting Golan for the past week for example. And every piece of Golan that dropped was utter trash, but yet I'll get the odd max stats on Fenris, Walker, Murikami etc. Which is nice to see, but I wasn't looking for them. It makes the whole targeted looting system pointless.

THIS!!!!! I would rather play the RNG gaming at least HOPING to get a decent roll on a piece I can somewhat take seriously than get a guaranteed god-roll on a completely useless skittle roll.

Right now the RNG seems fine. I get god-rolls so much - can't play a single game session without getting some sort of god roll. The PROBLEM is most of those god-rolls are frigging rainbow, making them completely useless. There is NO build in this game that needs all three colors. Two? Yeah. Definitely. All three? No.

I think you, and "ECSemperFi" are missing the point.

We all get a good ammont of GOD rolled items, but we get A LOT more items with very low stats.
If the avarage quality was hgher, then getting rainbow drops wouldn't be a problema, because we would also get drops with the stats that we want, with the values that we need.

It's not an issue of "rainbow gear is good if they are GOD rolls", it's a matter of, if the majority of drops are very good rolled at higher dificulties, then when we get the drops with the stats that we want, that item with have good enough stats to be used on a build.

I said before, and I'll say it again, for me, the gear could drop with ALL stats of the same color, because that's what I want on 95+% of the gear, but that would make it impossible for whoever wants to make a hybrid build to get those items, and I don't think that's positive either...

It's a RNG based looter shooter, dealing with the grind is a core part of the game. Doing this would kill it for most people within a couple of weeks.

Because farming/grinding endlessly for the VERY low chance of getting what we want/need, that doesn't kill it for most people…

But from what you're saying, the loot is fine right now, and should remain the same…?
