Yup! That’s the same crap I always get. Triple god-rolled rainbow should never exist in this game. I am okay with two colored hybrid, but NEVER in this game should all three colors be on one item. Useless in every regard.

It would help if Massive did not try to solve 2 issues with 1 solution.
Its clear there is a problem with rainbow loot among a sizable portion of the community.
Its also clear that some portion of the community don't want the change to be %100 as was first showed on SOTG as this would eliminate the possibility of getting gear items rolled in ways that would otherwise be impossible.

These are 2 different groups and massive is trying to solve this via single solution. Instead of trying to solve both and make neither happy, change the system so that the first item is guaranteed %100 to match as mentioned in SOTG and add to the the blueprints, rainbow loot enabled variations that do not follow the %100 matching rule. That would allow both sides to get a win and crafting would have a purpose again.

optionally if the idea of crafting is not appealing then make the %100 matching rule an option players can enable via settings so when gear drops the way it rolls, eitehr like now or %100 matching is unique to the player. For co-sessions it can be set for the session owner.

Just having got to the level where I got a gear score, being on Tier one I went around and opened box after box after box of gear, the overwhelming majority has a gear score of below 260, I got one piece with a gear score of 289, same with weapons cases, what's up with that? I was looking for a Stoner LAMG must have opened 50 weapon cases over the last few days, finally got one, gear score a whopping 265, thanks gear gods.

Note that the loot from open world boxes does not scale with difficulty. You need to play content on higher difficulties to improve your chances of better loot. Also remember to use the recalibration bench to improve the quality of gear you find.

or be done with the whole idea of fixing loot and rainbow drops, give us back the recal station and allow 1 talent and 1 attribute roll or two attributes rolls would be a far easier solution than trying to change rainbow drops and please everyone, what will likely happen is they will botch it and make it worse and in the process not please anyone. Just give us the recal station I mean its not like we use all the resources now, at least it would give people a reason to farm for resources to roll gear as long as you have the attribute in your library

I can't even tell you how many triple godrolled pos rainbow loots I either deconstructed on the spot, or just didn't bother to pick it up at all. Who actually looks for crap loot to put fail-builds together?

You can have them, but the odds are VERY MUCH against you. If you get an item with one very low stat, and the other two with higher values, chances are that they will be rainbow.
On Chests and Backpacks, with the talents, it makes it even harder to get them with values that could be used on a end game build.
I still don't have ANY good enough backpack, from the Brands that I might use, with Companion on it...

Like I said, the worst part is there is a HUGE probability of getting items on the lower range of their power, and that is (in MY opinion) VERY stupid. The odds of getting a maxed item should be same as the odds of getting the lower stats.

The armor Regen is not that bad, but yes, that is one of the cases that makes me hate the game...

Nah rainbow loot is a huge issue, id be no more satisfied getting a god rolled triple stat item than i would getting 3 of the same color with stats being less than 50%. Its a two problem issue, rainbow loot and the quality in the percentage you get especially in tougher difficulties.

Improving the quality, but keeping the skittle effect doesn't make the piece of gear any more enticing, its just a shiner turd.

I saw a youtuber sugest that we could have a modifier to let us choose the COLOR of the stats on gear, like we can choose the dificulty and the directives. For me, that would also be a better solution then what the Devs have propose...
