    Rainbow loot is not problem, loot QUALITY is the real issue.

    There's been a lot of discussion regarding rainbow loot, and how to fix it, but my experience in game (more 1500 hours played) tells me that the real problema is the terrible loot quality.

    Before the last patch, that "improved" the loot quality, Nikki Kuppens showed us a graphic regarding Heroic loot quality, and how they would improved it, and two things were immediatly obvious:

    1- The minimum (avarage) rolls are VERY low on Heroic (start at 60%);
    2- There's a HUGE probability that the loot will drop with the lower possible stats (I think there was around 65% chance of getting between 60% and 70% power on drops).

    This is TERRIBLE! This is the reason why rainbow loot is so anoying. Because the chances of getting close to max values are so low, that when we get them, being rainbow is like a punch in the stomach.

    The color of the stats should remain the same as they are now (for people that want to make Hybrid builds), but the stats should be A LOT higher, so that we get a lot more drops with very high stats, to make up for the fact that there is allways a lot more probability of getting the stats that we don't want.

    In MY opinion, there's only two ways to fix the this issue:

    1- Optimazation table (I already made a post about that when the last PTS was active. https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...the-next-patch!), but I'm sure that Optimazation will only (might) be introduced when TD3 is close to release;
    2- Greatly improve the loot quality.

    The loot should drop with higher stats, on all dificulties, with values something like this:

    Legendary and RAIDs: 90% (or even 95%) of their power;
    Heroic MISSIONS: 80% (or even 85%) of their power;
    Heroic CPs and Heroic Elite Open World Activities: 70% of their power;
    Heroic "normal" Open World Activities: 65% of their power;
    Heroic Open World Friendly Activities: 60% of their power.

    Also, the chance of getting a full GOD rolled item should be the same as the chance of getting the lower possible roll. By that I mean that shouldn't be that stupid "65%" chance of getting the lowest possible roll.

    Ever since Walker Brand was introduced, I've been farming for a GOOD piece with Glass Cannon, and I still don't have it. Mostly because the ones that I got with Glass Cannon were either rainbow rolls, or very low stats.

    I understand that great loot shouldn't be that easy to get, but the way it works right now, it's driving A LOT of players away from the game.

    Devs keep making the same mistake, over and over and over again. They make us grind like crazy to get the builds that we want, and expect that will keep everybody playing FOREVER, but what happens is that players get bored, anoyed and disapointed, and when we stop playing, we're less likely that we'll return when new contente is avaiable.

    I admit it’s annoying to get a triple god-rolled item and it is rainbow. Seems like most of the god-rolls I get are rainbow. It’s obnoxious. Every single day I play I have to destroy at least 3 or 4 god-rolled rainbow items. That’s why I was excited when they said it would be 100% chance of one attribute to roll the color of the core tribute ... and then some kiddos whined and they completely reversed it and deleted the entire update. Now we’ll be back to where we were I. The first place ... constantly getting god-rolled rainbow loot items that no one who plays seriously would ever use.

    For me, getting quality rolls was not too hard. It was when I would get quality rolls and they would be rainbow ... Ubi should have stuck to their original announcement cement and promise to fix by keeping that 100% color match.

    Show me a player using rainbow in a raid or Legendary and I’ll show you a player getting fully carried by his teammates.

    For solo players, on Heroic dificulty, some blues on a DPS build, or even some yellows, might be good, but I believe that 99% of playtime from the community is using one color stats.

    For me, personally, I wouldn't mind if the THREE stats had the same color, but I think that having more VERY GOOG rolled items, is the better choice. It would keep the possibility of Hybrid builds, for who ever wants to make them, but would garantee the rest of us that, when we get an item with the stats that we want, the values are good enough to be used.

    NO, it didnt completely, correct,if u play solo and matchmaking with randoms, most of players, wouldn't overpower the gear , for an example , u may have to use some hybrid state for safety reason in mission, or if u are carrying some new players etc, u may need some hybrid state, like red core, two blue like armor regen, HZ protection etc.. whatever, it's wrong, only new players , causal players, noobs etc would just use all red or same color build in term of 100% weight suggestion previously . however , it's hard to say the diverity of build that the community is using, as it's really of personal taste and gaming style, but 100% weigh on first attribute isnt a good idea to a loot shooter game, people like RNG more high % on guarantee, if u are active player, u will have no any motives to play it more,as every one can get any build easily.

    I use match make A LOT, and the majority of builds are ONE color builds. You see the Crit DPS builds. some Status build, and maybe a Tank or Healer, but ALLWAYS ONE color.
    If you use MM and get more new/noob players then more experienced ones, then having na Hybrid build will be even worse, because you either don't do enough damage to make up for the lost of damage from other players, or you won't do enough damage with your skills. Or you won't have a strong enough Heal/CC.
    In group play, ONE color builds are BY FAR the best option.

    But I still think that Hybrid builds have a place in the game, and getting those drops should be possible.

    If people get what they want EASIER, not easily, we could actually think of more builds, farm for it, try it, and then try another one. And all of that, without the need to hoard SO many gear on stash, just for the chance that it would be usuable in the future.

    If people only play to get the Gear/Weapons with max stats, then I feel sorry for them/you. Specially because it's SO F****n hard to get those max stats in the current game.
    This should be about playing the game with diferent playstyles, diferent builds, diferent weapons.
    Having Gear/Weapons with better stats would allow for that, and even clear some stash space (I wouldn't hoard so many stuff that could be good in the future, if it was easier to get those same items when I actually decide to use them).

    I have been playing since day one the loot drop is the same as its always been from day one 99% junk and I don't see it changing - same as Division 1 99% junk buy at least in D1 you could upgrade that piece of junk to a god role if you wanted to put in the time collecting division tech.

    Can not wait for the fix for this reason right here. I deconstructed this on site out of pure frustration (I know some of you would want this, I do not).

    Just to be clear, Item power is not the same as average or "minimum" roll. You can have two rolls maxed and one below 50%. I'm pretty sure most people would be happy with such an item.

    I quit after this one. No reason to continue on in the DZ for the day.
