It’s possible that they may still release a new weapons set as part of Episode 3 with some character skins to go with it and I’m definitely expecting maybe 1 or 2 Weapons and attachments with the new class but I agree they definitely need more weapons in the game and to unlock all of the attachments so we can really better customise our loadoutOriginally Posted by El_Cuervacho Go to original post
Ex Alpha group spetznas, so they would be highly trained and according to the lore they were heavily involved in The black market weapon trade so getting hold of Tavors wouldn’t be an issue for them. I don’t think they need to be running AK platforms just to prove they’re RussianOriginally Posted by ApexMandalorian Go to original post
You can do that now, if you aren't it just shows how much it really isn't a good idea. The game is too buggy for that.Originally Posted by NoVa_Erk Go to original post
As long as they aren't wearing capes it is all good to me.Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post
A fair take, and I agree, but it does sadden me a bit that them being armed with tavors is pointing to them being Wolves reskins, and not their own unique enemy types, especially with how integral they are to GRFS' story being the anti ghosts if you will.Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post
Though if they have unique enemy archetypes (like their cloaking ability) than I'll be happy.
Officially, it's the second DLC adventure, even though I personally feel it started out as a live event. You can tell by the bannerOriginally Posted by Loomse Go to original post

You just stated that they're Russian spetsnaz. Why would they pick a western pattern rifle over an AK style weapon system that most of them have used for their entire careers?Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post
Why is it the same rifle that the Wolves used? Why couldn't they use more modern weapons like the AK-12M2 (Hell, entire AK-400 lineup), АМ17/АМB17 rifles, RPL-20 machine gun and the PLK pistol.
This is Ubi. Stop asking logic questions.Originally Posted by KUZMITCHS Go to original post
Well, if they operate on isolated island where is standart weapons and ammo expected to be NATO made - they will use them otherwise where they will get parts and/or ammo?Originally Posted by KUZMITCHS Go to original post
Because when they fire sound will be the same as if when enemy fires. So, other enemies might think that this is their comrade shooting, not enemy. :-) But overall, I would have preferred that Bodark (by the way, Bodark isn't a Russian word, now live with that knowledge :-P ) used some new to the game series weapons like Groza (AK-based bullpup AR), A545 (just went into production), AN-94 (well, now it is in a limited use mostly by Internal troops, but quite interesting rifle) or AS/VSS.Originally Posted by KUZMITCHS Go to original post
АМ17/АМB17 - still in testing and unknown how they will look in the end. So, it is better not to make haste here because AK-12 in Breakpoint and Wildlands represent discarded prototype and AR which went into production looks quite differently.Originally Posted by KUZMITCHS Go to original post
RPL-20 - on even more earlier stage than AM17 and AMB-17 and also can seriously change.
PLK - for police/interior troops, not for military.
