Hard no on the perma death. There are too many factors that out of our control, that could lead to death. If you are so gung ho on having it, just use one of your game saves, for it, and if you die, just delete the save and start over.

the real reason that bodark are using tavors is because they'll most likely be re skinned wolves and the rifle is probably tied to their ai code the weapon is part of the character not an item because when the enemy's were made they weren't designed to drop their weapons
it would probably take too much work to code them using a different rifle because it seems breakpoints engine is made of spaghetti

honestly if the have half decent writers they could write it off as raven rock being so under equipped because the ghosts pretty much kicked their teeth in and these are the last remnants of ravens rock that they have to get equipment from the wolves because they pretty much have nothing now

I see the Tavor thing a completely different way, With Bodark/Ravens Rock not being affiliated to any particular country they can choose any weapon system that they find suitable for their needs
The tavor is a well respected Rifle, and possibly the best bullpup on the market (behind the MDR). You get all the accuracy off a long barrelled rifle with the compactness and manoeuvrability of a pdw. Which would make it ideal for a spec ops soldier

Everything is speculation until it's released.

Hopefully at Ubi forward they will announce it as part of their year 2 map though
Is that release date for year 1 pass owners or for everyone?

The TU will release at the same time for everyone. But since this is not Transcendence, it's unclear if the missions will only be available to the season pass owners, or everyone. We will hopefully know more about what is going on, on Thursday.

I think it should be released for everyone at the same time but Megalodon is right we won’t know anything properly until Thursday night.
Reference the whole Transcendence thing maybe they’ve switched things around and this is now going to be the live event as apposed to a full episode.
I’m kinda intrigued to see what they’re bringing out for the new class though

You're absolutely correct, the Tavor is a great choice for a bullpup, however I'd argue it would've been a good opportunity to introduce a diferent weapon system to the mix while keeping faithful with the kit Bodark used back in FS.
