    Linux support is essential

Has Ubisoft noticed the move to Linux that is gaining momentum? Or are the people at Ubisoft still in their bubble, ignoring the users and relying on the same old? Are the people at Ubisoft smart enough to offer support for Linux? There are thousands of PC gamers making the switch and Microsoft has lost the battle, to the point where it now offers Windows free. Players in the past year who wanted to upgrade their hardware and install Linux have found AMD support with Linux drivers so bought AMD hardware. How many gamers are going to buy a game that cannot be played on Linux? Come on Ubi, keep up with progress! Are the people at Ubi confident that Windows is going to be around in 5 years because Linux certainly will be, with people playing games. We like Ubi's games but we have moved to Linux and we're not going back to Windows.

Linux has been and always will be for programmers. It never has and never will be meant for gaming. I use my Linux for programming and design, but when I game I’ll always have my windows to log on to. That’s just the way it is. And I’ll always hope that the developers of Linux keep their platform aimed at programming and not try to expand into other areas.

To KmarkoPL and Fae_Dravein. Thanks for the reply but you are not aware of progress in Linux. Microsoft bought Github and it was a desparate attempt to have some control of open source software and steal some of it for Windows. So what would happen to Microsoft if it suddenly decided it could remove Github repository from the internet? After all, if Microsoft bought it then they can do what they like with it, and it would stop a world of open source software from working. That's a good plan for Microsoft to compete, isn't it?
Fae_Draven, why not install Pop OS if you think Linux is just for programmers. and Kmarko, this is 2020 not 1996..
