    Question about Damage

    So I am going against a guy with 1.5 mil armor. In the damage box I am seeing numbers like 4760 006 and 2749 022. Can someone enlighten me as to what those numbers mean?

    Thanks

    You are seeing normal numbers on the damage you've dealt. It's just that NPC have a lot more armor than you think they do, especially if you are playing on Heroic. Named I believe have over 10 million armor.

    Thanks, so does the second number represent how much they had left?

    Their armour bar represents how much life they have left and you need to obviously take that down to zero to get rid of them. Not too sure what you're asking but yellow numbers are normal damage you do and orange numbers are the crit damage you are also doing.

    Ok, thank you. When doing damage, especially in PVP I am just trying to figure out how much I am actually doing to gauge how effective my build it. SO if I am super close to finishing off a player the build is ok. If I am miles off then I need to re think it.

    Thanks again.

    FYI.. You can also tweak the UI and change how that information is presented to you in the chat window. You can choose what data appears in the chat window as well as how the actual DMG values that roll of the NPC's look. If you've never looked into those you should. You may not have those set to how you'd best like them to work/look.

    DMG VALUES: go to settings and in the UI look for Scrolling Combat text.

    CHAT WINDOW: in the chat window hit the arrow in the right side and you will see a list of items by group that you can enable/disable to list in the chat window. The Combat (damage) Indicators are color coded:

    White = normal
    Blue = armor
    Red = weakpoint, head or other mob specific weak points
    Orange = critical
