I keep seeing these quitting posts. I'd like to contribute to the downfall. This game is simply not fun anymore.
Warmonger single-handedly ruined the game. You introduce frame disadvantage on light finishers then give WM frame advantage on her quick bash light. I've been walking through people with WM. Its mindless. Just throw a random light or two, then go into the bash mixup. Then repeat since I have frame advantage. I don't need to worry about which direction my light comes from since she has enhanced lights. Nobody light parries consistently me since there's less indicator time. I take no joy in winning with this character or playing against it. Some characters are legitimately fun to play against such as warden and kensei but WM is just annoying.
Some say that is part of her kit and that the quick bash light doesn't end her chain. But it gives her opponents no chance to attack. You could dodge after the bash light in anticipation of her frame advantaged follow up, but the WM can just GB. There are no characters that gb mid chain without feinting a bash or heavy.
Also, WM is not unique. Just a buffed version of Warden, Centurion, and Hito. I have no issues with those characters because they're fair. I can block them and they won't be able to continue their offense. Not the case with WM. I enjoy this game when there's no WM in the match. But those games are getting rare.
Today's patch didn't fix her. Her T1 feat should never have existed. The patch just lowered damage across the board and it simply isn't good enough.
I've been playing for 2 years and would've kept playing. It is time to move on thanks to how terrible it is now.
