[PC]Cannot connect to the game | Forums

Hello !

I'm having issue with connecting to the game :

-The launch loads fine
-I get accès to the game intro and "press a touch" screen

But after that i get the loading and an error message :

"The For Honor servers are unreachable at this time please try again later"
Check our service status at forhonorgame/status.

I tried restarted my rounter but nothing changes.

I played the same day in the morning without any issues.
The only thing that changed since then is the update.

I think the Ubisoft servers are down

Same problem for all ubisoft games even RS6

Same here, could play fine this night, can't be the servers being down, as i can login fine to the launcher, and friends (wich can play) see me starting it up. funny note about this is, i can't even browse onto the support page, everything else ubisoft related on the internet is fine. did they switch up some backend handling crippling only a portion of the playerbase?

EDIT:
Everybody talks about the update being the issue, steam update log tells me the last update was one week ago, so maybe there is an issue with the game not recognizing it needs to be updated, and therefore we can't connect since there is a version mismatch?

I reinstalled the game and it fixed it for me.

I'm sorry to hear that this error message was occurring, and preventing you all from being able to access the game. Can you please confirm if this error message is still cropping up? If so, can you please perform the following connectivity troubleshooting:

- For For Honor (PC / PS4 / XB1)

- For Uplay PC (if playing on PC)

Caerdwynn - Thanks for sharing your workaround to reinstall the game! Glad to hear that this helped, and that you're now able to play.

If the above steps don't work for you all, can you also try a reinstallation of the game? Make sure that Uplay PC and For Honor are on the same drive, if playing on PC.
