At first is not making much sense I know, but hiperarmour is not about how much armour you have, but how that warrior deals with damage and pain.
Shugoki is a brute , many say an ogre or oni or at least their comrades think he is, he deals with pain as a monster would.
zerk, is a berserker, warriors that entered in a frenzy state that historically rendered them inmune to pain, unless head was damaged with a powerful blow (vikings had enormous warhammers with this sole purpose), or the heart was pierced and even with that pierced heart they will fight some moments, even fire was useless according to nordic sagas.
homever I could tolerate the 150 health pool of lawbro before it was patched, cause he is really well armored with a "secretly designed armor" so I would prefer him with 150 hp BUT WITHOUT ULTRA FAST ATTACKS FROM NEUTRAL (TOP LIGHT ANYONE?) OR ULTRA FAST SUPER DAMAGING PUNISHES, so LB is a tank or an assasin?, because they treated him very different from a tanky guy , giving him fast attacks and demolishing counters, with a bash that is also doable after dodging. I think 150 hp for him but make him slower is a good trade off, but no, as the ccu they all think speeding him up while giving great damage is the way to go. Imagine also with hiperarmour now with the ccu changes? is too much man too much.
Also remember he has access to perks like bulk up and last stand along bastion, he has second wind (now nerfed too much) and righteous deflection(which now is harder to use cause parrying is difficult against lights but usable) so he still has great potential as a tank.
I think your mistaking lawbringer for raider because noobs would have to grow a couple
braincells to parry if they were playing lawbringers. His top light is singular
his bash is slow unless he whiffs a heavy you aren't winning with lawbringer
just by throwing top lights (they're blockable) you've just been having bad days
pre-CCU I understand the frustration you got your nerfs whats done is done.
I don´t have a problem with LB, the top light is a problem or were cause it was too fast for many to even block, at least on console as many claimed, so no I was not talking about raider, my son is LB main and diamond 4 pre ccu, so I can say that even with my pk that many of them ran away from me lol, thanks to my son teachings about lawbro.Yes his top is not chained, but in console a lot of people used it to interrupt or even to spam (which I deflected with pk or counter crush with warlord). All this was pre ccu. So no garr I was talking about a bunch of people that wanted the top light nerfed, in console, for me is not a real problem, because I know how to counter it (with my mains). The hardest LBs were in ranked and they dominate by other methods, like punishes and baits, but even them sometimes poke you out to interrupt or doing feints to poke you ( I was unable to get into diamond 4 with pk cause alot of big boys and bashers there). You can investigate by yourself about how many wanted that movement nerfed or slowed.Originally Posted by garr1999 Go to original post
Obviously the forte of LB is parrying and punishing, and in diamond tier bash after dodge was also common.
He was also upset about LB losing his hiperarmour, but now he adapted and doing really well, he knows the bash is faster now so he uses it accordingly.
Don´t asume I´m frustrated, in fact as I already posted, my K/D ratio is much better now almost 4 from 3.12. But Hiperarmour on everything is not the solution.Though if they put it again on him(only to his bash) I would not care, but many will do, saying what I posted.
Oh ok man, thanks for the clarificationOriginally Posted by garr1999 Go to original post

Even if you could not parry, you have seen red, you dodged and shoved, and that was basically unpunishable safe for a couple examples like Black Prior or Warden. Trades were in your favour. When you were in doubt, you had your 400ms top light for minimal stamina and 15 damage, which forced opponents to always hold up their guard. He did not have much of an offense pre-CCU, but his shove-heavy mixup after a heavy attack was unreactable. He also had 70 damage punish on an out of stamina guardbreak. He was extremely easy to win with, basically without knowing anything about opponents or their chosen characters.

I been saying this for so long and now all the LB noobs are crying so hard and it's AMAZING
