I am fuming to say the least, a game which is from this decade having so many issues on a platform where you can easily play 20 years old games without problems.
I have just finished FC5 and wanted to reply the 3, of course thanks to Ubisoft not caring whatsoever about its customers I cannot do so, the game as for many on this page won't launch, I managed to make it work just by setting compatibility mode with WINDOWS 98/WINDOWS ME (I mean guys, really?) however performance is dreadful on i7 8700k and 1080ti and often it crashes or hung.
I am really speechless at Ubisoft (which I decided not to support but for Fra Cry games and only on steam) speechless that a forum is full of threads without them even bothering to fix the game but they keep selling it without warning, I appreciate being a large game publisher but you know threat your customers bad today, bad tomorrow.....even Atari, Origin and so on where big once...
The Windows 98 is the only workaround that seems to work, fun fact is that the game launched no problem on a Surface Pro 3, of course with very limited FPS but actually playable if one wanted to.
Is anyone planning to at least do a minimal maintenance update on this game? Someone needs to go learn something or two from CD Projekt, first Witcher runs like a charm and it is way older than Far Cry 3.
Rant here is very much deserved... let's see if there is any constructive reply from Ubisoft....
