Hackers are freely bypassing and mocking your systems and it's getting out of control. These hacks are widely accessible, claiming to be undetectable and are spreading like wildfire in all PvP zones right now.
The reporting system both in game and on the website is also an absolute joke. There are players in various videos on youtube clearly hacking & being reported by various sources including myself & with video evidence and nothing is being done.
So my question is why are you not doing anything about it?
There are more and more cheaters, they go unpunished and can use their software without fear. I don't play Division1 because of the cheaters, but if Division2 is so polluted then I will go back to Division1. I see people using cheats, I'm not talking about aimbots or glitches. I'm talking about the cheats that allow you to shoot through walls and kill 4 players in less than 10 seconds. These cheaters have scary play times with 700 hours played. I also saw a cheater with an SHD of over 11,000.
You really have to do something and make the carryover in the game easier. I think you are betting everything on your anti-cheat but you need real support with staff to control the carryovers. Haa and also, start to really worry about pvp because the pveboys will soon be leaving on other games that will be released soon and you will no longer have any community because pvp players will quickly get tired of being alone in the DZ or playing against cheaters.
You could at least wait until you release Division3 and not give a damn about Division2. This is what you did for Division1.
I forgot, I no longer buy comestics and season pass because of your incompetence and I must not be the only one yet I like to support the development of games but I don't like to be taken for an idiot.
They minimize the incentive for anyone to go into the DZ, ie make sure all the loot drops with bad rolls and don't put any exclusive exotics like the Eaglebearer in the DZ. After being one shot through solid terrain for several weeks by the same bad actors, I've come to realize how the lack of any valuable loot has made me not actually care as much about being interrupted by these people.

You can't stop them, I understand that. What you can do is actually act upon reports and look into them properly which cannot be happening right now. The report system is pointless right now.Originally Posted by BT3241 Go to original post
Another thing you can do is drastically up your game with these so called anti cheat systems to greatly reduce cheating in game.
Depends on the type of cheat. For example, they did do something about damage glitch.Originally Posted by D-Y-N-4-M-O Go to original post
The other cheats, they would have to go after the cheat creators first. That takes time. Then they have to remove the functionality of the cheats that were created. However, cheats are actually very advanced these days.So the last part is easier said than done.
Bans are like blowing your nose when you have the flu. The symptoms just come back.
You can reduce cheating drastically. I'd like to see more done in modern games. This video highlights some of the ways it can happen.
"create as many hurdles as possible"
I'd also like to see more efforts put into the reporting system both in game and on the official website. It can be improved tenfold.
That's debatable. There are lots of cheats that could easily be flagged if the system did checks for stats like accuracy, rpm, line of sight, movement speed, stats, etc.Originally Posted by a19awesome19 Go to original post
I still remember the pre WONY exploit that let people stack 20 mil+ armor, which took waaaay too long for them to fix, much less never even detect and ban for. You're telling me your cheat engine can't look at a player's stats and go "hmm... no one should be able to have that much armor in the game" and flag that as cheating? I even submitted screen shots of with those insane stats displayed on their character sheet and those guys were still running around for weeks, unkillable by even the checkpoint turrets.
The maps are also static, so it can't be that hard for an engine to check if damage from one position to another has valid line of sight. I mean the game already does that for drones and turrets whenever you see the laser showing their firing line against a target you mark for them to focus. And even if you spoof positioning info for that, it should translate into erratic movement speed and pathing, which should in turn also be flagged as a movement or teleporting hack.
I seriously doubt that it takes time to act against cheating on any video game. The fact of the matter is that most if not all publishers don't want to divert funds to fight against it. All they do is having a basic anti-cheat system and call it a day.Originally Posted by a19awesome19 Go to original post
Massive is extremely lazy when it comes to cheating and they do absolutely nothing about the reports. I had sent countless of cheating report about lag switch back in the days but you'll still see the same people abusing lag switch the next day and so on; if on console, they do absolutely no ****, I prefer not to imagine the nightmare on PC.
True, with a little caveat. Cheaters can work within the constraints of a system. For theoretical example, they could intentionally miss shots to hide their aim hacks.Originally Posted by Solkard Go to original post
So, obvious cheats, Ubisoft has no excuses. Incredibly advanced cheats, I can give the modern game developer a break.
