Until you let your brain marinate, let me introduce you to a Peacekeeper move called Deep Gouge. It is a confirmed light stab after any heavy attack that succesfully lands, deals 1 direct damage, and 10 bleed damage (2/s for 5 seconds). It also gives frame advantage to the Peacekeeper. That means her dodge attack deals 16 damage full, gives her back the frame advantage, and for 5 seconds, makes her light enchanced. If you need tips with Peacekeeper, feel free to ask, I am rep 70 with her on PC and main her since Season 1. Since her brutal nerfs, she never felt this strong (still needs buffs obviously, though her 4v4 potential is bigger than most give credit for her, she is generally played quite poorly in team modes).

There were viable and unviable characters before the CCU. There are stronger and weaker characters now, but since everyone has neutral 400ms-ish lights, nobody is so insanely over- or underpowered as before, everyone has offense. The gap between a Warmonger and a Shinobi is clearly not as big as the gap between a Lawbringer and basically any B tier was.
To be bluntly honest, i dont even have PK unlocked lol. I was going to bat for PK mains after i saw in another thread her side "heavies" only did 5dmg. I was like wtf thats not even half light dmg! I knew about the frame advantage & enhanced lights from the previous update but when someone said 5dmg heavies i kinda lost my **** i coildnt wrap my mind around a serious concept of calling 5dmg "heavy" for an atk.

im new player, jsut got into for honor a week ago. i like a lot of things here, but some things just piss me off.

the light spam is real, i constantly get owned by nobusha, just pocking me to death, cant block any thing. Another one is law bringer stun, heavy, stun, heavy combo leaves me speechless.

However, more than all that i hate that feats are not instant. I am a PC player, my last console was PS 1 in 90s. Im used to abilities going off as i click the button, but here i'm frustrated as hell. Hate how my ability use, can be knocked off literally by a sneeze from any one near by. So many fights lost simply because i couldnt get ability off because it was constantly knocked down.

oh and ofcourse target switching, it's a different type of hell.

Just carry on man, you will learn to win against nobu, I´m sure, is a matter of practice against her in the training arena.
Now about your feedback, that´s really important cause this recent update was for the new players, I mean to atract and retain new players, To reduce their frustration. But as you said many are frustrated about the lightspam, that they ironically tried to reduce.

I think it used to be 17. That's 28 total (Deep Gouge was not nerfed). That was easily the highest neutral dodge attack punish in the game, which is too high imo.

Her normal numbers are low indeed, but her numbers are actually quite okay, if you see any heavy attack damage number, just put 11 damage on it. That means for example that her heavy finishers are around 38, and her neutral ones are 30+ too, so she is actually quite the hard hitter now (Shugoki fully charged heavy also deals 38 damage, though it is direct damage of course). Because of this, her relative strenght is actually higher than used to be (especially since people don't reaction parry light openers anymore).

Her real problem is how she loses any momentum quickly. Today, the stamina changes will come, with neutral lights costing 9, and chained lights costing 6 damage. That will help her a lot. She still needs that top heavy finisher unblockable I am advocating for for years, and I think at this point the Dagger Cancel should totally act as a chain starter (plus her feats are horrendous). A lot of heroes needs work, but her example shows how even a weak and further nerfed hero gained moor footing with the CCU. As I said, I never imagined defeeating a halfway decent Warden in 1v1 before, and now the fight feels far more balanced.

If everybody has 400 ms light, why pick a character with low damage instead of a 2 meters long sword? Is it fair that big weapons are as fast as a dagger and the indicator takes time? This change is crap. Devs should focus on balance both 1v1 and 4v4, because they are completely different games. But we all know they are not going to do. Look! a A new skin!!! Bye!!!

I don't think there are really low damage heroes now, as I explained, Peacekeeper for example has far higher damage than before relatively speaking, and she was considered a very low damage character.

Two handed swords are not that slow to swing in real life. They are not so much more heavy than a one handed sword, and you have far better control and strenght put behind the weapon because you use two hands.
